I’ve had this knife for approximately 3 months and it’s one of my favorites! From the action to the slim and relatively lightweight design (2.7 oz) and the wire deep carry clip just fantastic! Being completely rust proof is a big bonus. The Vanax blade came very sharp is very thin slicey. At $300 it’s not cheap and the only “negative” thing about it...but I guess you get what you pay for. Excellent EDC knife!
i picked up a Quiet Carry Chase. Been very impressed with it so far (after I polished the washers). Over all it's solid, and LC200N on blade both liners! I think my main plight is the asymmetrical edge bevels. But that'll be something that can be fixed in time. It still cuts like a laser
Been looking for one of these. Don’t seem to be available much. Btw, I love how nick is able to differentiate his oil of choice by the type of pivot of the knife. I do not have that type of discerning eye👍
Would be interested to see how you think the Waypoint measures upto a Sebenza or even a tricked out Bugout with titanium scales, I know that is a broad range but for me the corrosion resistance, light weight, slim carry, deep carry and build quality/design all weighed up with the cost to make it a compelling choice.
I have both the Waypoint and a titanium scale Bugout and your wanting a comparison is a damn good one! It would be a hard choice being the Vanax blade a little win for the Waypoint vs American made a little plus for the Ti Bugout. I wouldn’t want to have to make that decision!
@@everydaycarry1328 Yeah...nobody seems to throw out the final cost and weight of a mod'd bugout, as an old salty dog vanax call is strong, and priced well considering. Is it bad that I consider myself a child of the world and am not so fussed by not knowing exactly where it was built?
I got this knife and after a few days I asked Quietcarry for a set of replacement screws and washers. They said yes for $25. So it’s on the way. My logic was that I order it whilst the knife is current as it might be harder to get when the knife is EoL. Quietcarry told me this knife won’t be EoL anytime soon. Probably the replacement screws and washers might be standerd for most of their knife range.
Just noticed mine from the November restock has a totally different skeletonization milling on the show side scale. Instead of one large cut-out, there are three large (~1.5cm) and two small (~1cm) circles milled in. Wonder why they made the change! (Clip side appears the same.)
If you're wondering about Quiet Carry, you must REALLY be pondering Terrain 365. They're using Terravantium. "Terravantium is not steel. It is a dendritic cobalt alloy. It is non-magnetic, cannot rust, and has superior edge retention to any steel." Rex 121 could not be reached for comment.
I'm pretty sure the parts are manufactured in Taiwan and the USA. I also believe the heat treat is done by Peter's in PA, on this type of blade steel at least.
Love my Waypoint. Wish I waited for the satin version confirmed on the site that is being restocked Oct2020. If anyone wants to trade for the PVD blacked out version please let me know!
Besides the high price and small size, I do not like the assembly of parts made in undisclosed factories. Secrecy can be a good thing, but, in a world full of deception, I would not pay much for a product with undisclosed makers.
I love the knive thats why i had bought it for my 18 birthday but when it didnt get delivered i emailed quietcarry they mailed me back dont you remember you signed for it. I was suprised to get such answer we werent allowed to sign with corona at the time, I tryed my hardest to get in contact with them for a replacement or something but they were straight up ignoring my mails i tryed instagram no response they only responded after i started a review on paypal saying you can buy another one if the review is finisht when the review was finished all the waypoints were sold out. just wanted to say they have terrible customer service still pissed about it.

Excellent EDC knife!
The moment you opened this one it hit a soft spot. My personal taste lays with the slightly bigger knives, but this just looks perfect...
I own one and it pretty much is perfect. At least damn close.
When you can hear the "smile" in someone's voice you know they are actually excited... Can't wait for the full review!
awesome looking knife. simple and beautiful
This is my favorite knife. I like it better than my Sebenza
Wish u didn't say that. Lol guy just listed one bnib black Ti for 280.
@@dlife7427 The G10 are up on the Quietcarry site for $245
@@joshuajackson5654 damn i almost think I would like the g10 as much if not more then the Ti due too the weather where I live.
Was wondering when u were going to review this! Looking forward to the full review. It’s a great knife. However, mine does have issue with centering.

I have a quiet carry iq and I really like it. It did take some getting used to how small it is.
Thanks for sharing...
Interesting piece...
Looks great
I like the chrome/silver color!
Great knife !!

very sleek knife
I haven’t seen you this excited about a knife since the North Arm Skaha!
Looks like a sebenza 420

Nick I thought you were going to be doing first thoughts with disassemblies from now on!
Can't wait to get my swsa and kme duluxe sharpener. This thing going to get the treatment.
would adding frog lube on this knife be like dividing by zero?
“Dog rusted to the ground...” Fry’s dog Seymour.
What lube and screw products are you using?
What did you use to clean it with? Alcohol?
When putting FBWs back into the knife does the smooth side of the washer go facing the blade or the scale?
The scale if I'm not mistaken.
Nicks changing def leopards songs today, pour some kpl on me! Lol
is the pivot free spinning?
Sorry I’m late but it is not a free spinning pivot. It has a groove that holds the pivot in place.

@6:36 .... I'll have what he's having!
I thought it was a Chris Reeve knife.
If the owner of the company was only clear wear the knife is made.

dead weight if he would say it I would be happy to buy in those countries, just nothing in China.
Putting it in salt water would be the real test.
That’s what she Said
"This is a completely stainless knife....what I mean by that is it's stainless. " Indeed
