Omg I cannot imagine giving birth in a country that doesn't speak English. As much as I'm fluent in Japanese, I think my mind will just switch off and not understand anything being told to me when I'm in that much pain. It's the top reason why I didn't want to give birth in Japan even though my husband felt it will be much cheaper.
Well done to have given birth in Japan.

      Thank you for your comment!
I can totally understand it. My brain just switched off and I wasn't able to think well while in pain. I even told any gynae to give me C-section because the pain was unbearable.
But thinking back about it, I think it is really an experience.

@@evellynnch Haha I heard gynaes at private hospitals here in Singapore would jump at any opportunity to do emergency C-section as the bill will almost double. I'm thankful that I was able to have a natural birth.
Seems like gynaes in Japan are not pro C-section. My mother-in-law said my husband was the 2nd largest baby born in the hospital's history (4kg) and she was told to just suck it up and give birth naturally when she requested for c-section prior to her EDD.
