I know there is a lot of Employers that work their part-time employees full-time hours. And restaurants are the worst. I know this to be a fact from personal experience. From back in the day and to this day, they still do it. The employer will have them on documents as part-time but working full-time hours, so if there is any benefits that are offered, by the Employer they only apply to managers and supervisors. The managers and supervisors are the ones that get the benefits even There Employees may be working full-time. They do not get the benefits that the management and supervisors get because they're on record as part-time. The restaurants are the worst to the best of my knowledge. Doing these things like I said. I know this from personal experience. I have worked in many restaurants over the years and they all do it.
If only the DOL was more employees supportive..
