These fish ponds should be reclaimed and be converted into commercial areas, parks etc. to make it useful and could widen the business centers of Iloilo City.
Reclaiming that fishponds would destroy the ecology so the best thing to do is maintain that fishponds , try to prevent to the water from being polluted and plant some mangrove so that fishes will thrive even more . They're still plenty of idle areas in the city that can be made ito commercial areas but not this sunset boulevard.

Don't worry. The owners know that the boulevard increased the value of their land by at least 10 fold. They will know what to do.
