I can't remember when the last time was that I saw Far Seer + Blademaster + Tauren Chieftain. Maybe in one of Grubby's occasional Reign of Chaos games?
taurens are the strongest orc unit by far. most builds should be to work around the game state to having them available. too bad every race hardcounters them. (destroyers/wyrms, gryphons/sorcerers, chimeras) i think spamming batriders + taurens might be the play. like 4 taurens are worth like 6-7t3 melee units for other races. so you have plenty of money for antiair bats.
No, thorns only affects attack damage, pulverise isn't really an attack, it's more like a spell that triggers when attacking, that's why it does full damage and ignores armor.
Hero duration. That goes for all spells as that's what Resistant Skin does, it makes spells treat the unit as if it's a hero. That's also why units with Resistant Skin can't be affected by any ability that can't target heroes.
