As a keqing main, i use her for anything and imo her dmg is fine, compared to the others dps she’s below average but her dmg is still good enough to 9/9 the abyss floor 11 so, im good (cuz the floor 12 is simply hell for me)
I personally play keqing because of her playstyle, the way she moves fast w her skill and burst, but she deals little damage. At an early point in the game, I switched keqing's artifacts to raiden and she did more damage even raiden being at low investment. I think keqing makes up for it for her low energy cost and cooldown tho! I still have a special place in my heart for her
Lion's roar isn't good In coop, because generally all characters have different elements, thus weapon's passive has low effectivity. That must be what limited Keqing's damage in almost all the fight, and the reason why only at the end she did the damage I said.
If you used thundersoother (correct me if I misspelled the name), it could have weakened even more your Keqing, but I don't know if you actually did it.

@@Ozen2507 Diluc is a fast pyro applicator, which would cause problems to Lion's roar even alone, and there was also Rosaria, with her DOT Ult that was infusing cryo all the time. That's why there was not enough electro application.
@@granito555 first of all, the passive of Lion's Roar does work also with pyro second, with a bit of electro, or with to much electro, the passive still works three, different phases have different elemental resistance
Ok, let's see: Keqing's burst does 10 strikes, the first did 10289, second to ninth did 2953, and the last did 23234, so the total damage dealt was 10289+2953×8+23234=57687, and that's raw damage, without any buff. I don't know much about the game, but I don't think 57687 of raw DMG is something you can call weak/bad.
Yeah keqing problem is her burst multiplier. If only she has good/high multiplier she will be a good dps(second) because her burst cost only 40(?) And has low cooldown
Honestly, what makes Keqing stands out is her SPEED. Mind you I have Kaeya and Diluc with bigger output dmg, but Keqing ends up giving better attack because of her speed. She's doing average dmg but faster average dmg makes difference, especially in time trial mission.

I have a triple crowned keqing and she deals 20k on her e skill reactivation with 2,832 per slash on her burst & 22k burst last hit recently she dealt 63k on her burst last hit with supports. She may not the best dps but I really like her playstyle and she never left my team ever since I got her. I have a c1 childe and c0 klee (who are both strong dps) benched since I honestly do not care about meta and what other players will say to me about wasting time on keqing.

That's why I main Klee. I don't care what others say about her. Klee is my main dps with Zhongli there to protect her. At the end of the day it's important to play the game the way you want. I have kept Barbara on my team since the beginning. Her dmg output isn't that great but her healing is.
Late comment but what I loved about Keqing is the aesthetic of her burst, it's low cost and high uptime due to high recharge..and most importantly, the very long I-frame of that sword dance. The sheer amount of things you can dodge with that burst, hnghh.. I actually once solo'd Azhdaha and Raiden Shogun with Keqing equipped with R5 Black Sword. I know that feel of the ending strike, haha..

Keqing seems like a great early game main dps considering a lot of enemies are weaker then their late game counterparts. Also all her materials are in an accessible location unlike Inazuma where you have to go through the while Mondstadt and Liyue archon quest just to be stuck in Ritou before you can get to the main island through a quest.
She has 0% Res for every element and 2nd phase shield has 90% elemental res for every element it doesn't necessary make electro weaker compared to others
Wait why is keqing’s burst considered low, it easily can hit at least 40k without any buffs and much investment and her charge attack is high too /gen (Im AR60 btw and my keqing is easily one of my best characters)
yes Keqing's burst can hit around 200k with a great amount of investment and supports (Tested it out myself), but the problem is, with the same investments on other characters like raiden shogun or characters that has great reactions, they can easily hit like 400k per burst (in one shot or short amount of time unlike Keqing's burst which does around 10 hits and takes around 5 seconds in total) or even more if characters can use melt or vaporize, which is why her burst is considered low. (though with the same amount of support her charge attacks can hit around 30k per hit, which makes it an advantage because her charges are really quick)
Well I have to say here in favor of Keqing that she's by no means a bad dps, your numbers are low because first, you're fighting Raiden who has increased electro resistance, and second, your artifacts on her must be average at best. I've used a damage calculator to test her damage if she had her proper artifact sets with good stats (I used my Ganyu artifacts as reference) and, hitting a lv.90 golden wolflord, with a R1 Black Sword, and 87/202 CR/CD she does 13k per CA (just by herself, no team comp at all). For comparison, my Ganyu with same setup, and using R1 Skyward, does 31k per CA (a bit more than double). However, Keqings CA has a super fast CA animation, and in the time Ganyu charges, shoots and impacts a charged arrow, Keqing can launch 2 CAs, meaning she's doing just a little less damage than a god-tier DPS. Sure, she's still not the best and her kit may be limited putting her on an average-tier DPS, but bad DPS? Absolutely not. Now the elemental reactions are a different matter, with melt comp Ganyu can obliterate anything in seconds, while Keqing reactions are not nearly as powerful and has to rely on sub-DPS like Xingqiu, but that's more an electro-related problem rather than Keqing's.

Keqing was build for "one man army", sucrose veridisent and dragon book thats all keqing needs. Most player love to see huge damage that maybe could be done with some preparation and takes time to deal same huge damage. but keqing just shred monster with consistent damage number. What we need is "DPS DUMMY COUNTER" To prove that keqing deal huge dps. I had hutao 85k melt charge atk and ayaka well build, but still, i shred everyone with 14k + 16k every charge atk 😄

If you want to play kequing more, she is a really expensive main but she can do much better than this if you have a 5 star weapon and insane artifacts substats. I AM STILL FREAKING WAITING FOR ANOTHER MISSPLITTER ( bc i couldnt get it on ayaka first banner and rerun :c )
i believe physical keqing is better than electro keqing, as a former keqing main, i used physical and my brother did so too, we both believe physical is better than electro keqing so try doing a physical build with keqing to make her slightly better my physical keqing does about 900-2000 damage with her normal attack i use her elemental skill and then charge attack to create both physical and electro damage even though her burst isn’t good, you shouldn’t waste it

Already triple crown c2 Keqing with mistspliter r1, 2 gladi + 2 shimenawa, 2,7k atk, 70% crit rate and 200% crit dmg. But her damage still outclassed with C0 Ayaka 😔
