I think it must be some surround sound issue for you then. Make sure your audio settings on your computer is set to whatever numbers of speakers you have (or just stereo if you're using headphones). I have my surround sound on, and the voice came from the back speakers I think. If you have 5.1 sound in the settings but are using headphones, you'll only get the front speakers, that happens to me sometimes. Often it works because many videos just have stereo sound, but in the off chance that it's a 5.1 sound video... have to change the settings :P
