They're really fascinating, but severely dramaticised by the media. They might be toothy, but some of them stay quite tiny! I've been keeping fish for 13 years. I could tell stories about my adventures over the years for hours without exaggeration. I've never had goldfish, but I have had to grow my setup with a certain plecostomus (who's still growing) that I've had for about 8 years now. Glofish are neat, but if you ever get to lay eyes on a black neon tetra or a glowlight tetra- They look a like they glow from the side, almost as if they had a blacklight or orangey-red neon light tube stuck through the center of them from tip to tail. And best of all, that's the color you'd actually find in the wild! At least according to my most recent research. I cut that down as much as I felt I could. I just get so excited over fish tanks!
