Get the fishing molds when I’m running short on cash I melt the lead make pyramid sinkers and 12 -14 and 16 oz egg waits last trip I cleared $750. for 2 days work
yeah, I need to get some sinker molds, I Melted 16 lbs. of lead into cupcake ingots today, working on breaking down a few batteries that the cases are all falling apart. Video coming soon
Wow they don’t pay much for wheels! We got $20 a wheel in 2001. Now it’s around $25 per wheel. These guys drive from North Dakota and pick them up at our shop.

I used to buy junk cars, and they came off of the cars that I bought for scrap

Getting .93 to .98 per pond for aluminum wheels, the busted pieces shouldn't be less, weigh right along with wheels. always some way to Gough you.

What are aluminum rims selling for scrap/lb these days?
need to call your yard, prices very from yard to yard. and I haven't sold any for quite some time
do you know if metal check pays different for #1 Copper vs Bright Shiny or are the same?
I think they pay a few cents more for bare bright, best to give them a call

How much do you get for a pound of aluminum??
depends on the grade and where I take it. Rims pay the best. and I get about $3.00 a lb. on eBay. best to call around your area

Why dont ya take 1-1/4 angle iron 4" long cut ends at 15 degrees then weld on outside of mold. make one to start. tapered ends let em pop easy. adjust as needed to sell ingot's on e-bay Happy Scrapping
I have been planning to do that I have some angle in the shop wafting for me to get to it. I see tringle ingots on eBay a lot. I was wondering what angle to cut the ends.

The old man always made fishing weights , he used a hotplate and a cast iron pot for melting .now lead weights are illegal . 👍🇨🇦
