I think its crazy we are not already there, Yamaha build motorbikes with engine and gearbox, surely a electric motor with gearbox can't be that hard for them, i know the biggest issue with gearbox's is the noise from the meshing gears, this is not a concern on a motorbike as the engine is already noisy, and also the efficiency of the gearbox plays a big part, these motor companies must be scratching their heads right now trying to work these challenges out. maybe we don't need gears but belt on two conical rollers (CVT)

Why does it take so long to see more real life testing. This system is a no brainer imo. 👍

Too bad Revonte went bankrupt and tried to sell their IP… (Bosch should have bought their IP though)
That concept seemed more futuristic than Pinion MGU…
You also have Intradrive…. Maby you should test/review that one….
