Camiguin, Filipijnen. Tijdens onze low-budget backpack reis door Zuid-Oost Azië nemen we jullie mee op al onze avonturen!
Een nieuwe video van onze backpack reis zonder eind datum! In deze video bezoeken we het Filipijnse eiland Camiguin. De bijnaam van dit eiland is; Island Born on Fire', een vernoeming naar de 7 vulkanen die op dit mini eilandje te vinden zijn. 1 hiervan is tot op de dag van vandaag nog actief. Dit eiland is nog niet ontdekt door toeristen, en dat is te zien! Voor ons gevoel rijden we met de scooter door het 'echte' Filipijnen. Iedereen is vrolijk en zwaait naar ons. Omdat het bijna Kerst is, is over het hele eiland versiering opgehangen wat ervoor zorgt dat ook wij een kerstgevoel krijgen. We bezoeken de Katibawasan en de Tuasan waterval. Ook doen we een poging de minder bekende Binangawan waterval te vinden. Verder staat Camiguin vooral bekend om 'White Island', een zandstrook in het water met het witste zand dat wij ooit gezien hebben. Dit alles onder het genot van prachtige zonsondergangen maakt het een uniek eiland!
