I bought this in the nineties whilst doing a lot of djing and used to often open with this. The funny thing is that I thought this was the speed it was meant to be at.
true true although, slowing things down has a calming effect on one's mind when one is under certain influence (totally random example), while speeding things up - amusing as it is - has the tendency to give one a bit of anxiety, so um... let's not
All this 33RPM i love it... I Really am not the only one listening to these magnificent sounds. This is beautiful... Thank you for making this available for me. I do appreciated it Jon Shina.
I used to play Deep Sea Diving (Laurent Garnier track) at 45 rpm at home, and it sounded good. Later I noticed that I was playing the record at the wrong speed :)
You know how your back gets too tight, and elongate it by stretching(or with one of those hang-upsidedown thingeys), and all of that tension is released? Thats what listening to aphex slow is like

I listened to Milkman on 33 all my life! So I know of this phenomena.
Fun fact - when you slow down Aphex Twin you get Autecre.
Everything makes sense 🌅
when you speed up Autechre you get Aphex Twin
