Ok taking breaks or not taking breaks, to me, this is not an issue we should generalize as relationships are personal and turning these kinds of initmate issues into societal norms is not healthy for individual growth. Each couple should evaluate their relationship and decide what works best for them, its no ones business but theirs.
As for celebrity culture in Kenya, I like that its not that deep but hopefully for the right reasons. I have never been star struck and I used to wonder why. But I did feel that idolizing people coz they are celebrities is, in the long run, unhealthy for them and us. Its ok to be inspired by someone, but I read this quote once and it really stuck with me, it said.... never look up to anyone and never look down on anyone, see everyone as they are. In my case, I was either envious, intimidated or felt unworthy, also a part of me was unmoved, jaded but not sure why. I realized that to meet a celeb and compliment them genuinely without envy takes a certain level of maturity and grace.. Now years later, its so cool when I recognize and appreciate a celeb without feeling that I may be enabling narcissistic behaviour in them and at the same time recognzing that it is not motivated by my own insecurities and feelings of unworthiness or envy. Waah for me kila kitu ni introspection😂Pole for the long message😅
