What a great interview. Randal is an excellent interviewer. I got an understanding of the creative process that Devon goes through.

Thanks. I try to bring a fresh perspective through well researched questions, but also let the conversation flow naturally.

“It’s a double edged sword with fame, people want to be around fame and not around you”.. 👍 so true. Love your philosophical tone in the interview, soo much more interesting, great questions and great video mate.
Edit: man your words about silence was amazing!

Thanks! I strive to make the interviews like two friends having a conversation over Pints or Coffee. I believe that to get better answers, one needs to ask better questions, which is the skill I'm trying to sharpen. It's a challenge, but one I take seriously.

And endless amount of thanks from me to you, Devon and Randal, for this excellent interview! I feel inspired just listening to your outlook on life and all these same questions I was wondering about the answers to :) Really, Really, REALLY love the Seasons of Change EP!

Thanks. I believe that interviews should be conversations, not quizzes. Devon is an intelligent and thoughtful individual that can hold a great conversation. His low profile makes him even more endearing. Looking forward to discovering what other songs came out of those past sessions!

I have to agree that they are fantastic. Their courage to keep navigating into different musical directions is refreshing and authentic, especially considering Devon's background, as revealed in this interview. Although...mornings are not where I'm at my best...it was a fun interview.

@@RockStarToday The've been my favourite band since 2014, when TH-cam suggested me Full Circle. Last year I travelled from Brazil to Boston just to see them play live hahha I gave this trip to myself as a gift for my 30th birthday. And it was worth every penny.

@@kaeuzita Hadn't they come to Poland I'd definitely plan the trip of my life to see them anywhere possible, haha

Well, there is a theory of the origin of language that says it was only possible for the language to show up when we had something to hide from others. So it seems there is this paradox that the thing that makes us humans makes us darker. But apart from that - when I thought about it that way I totally believed that openess is a way of saving each other's worlds.

The thing about language, is that many don't use it to the full. There is the whole nuance of what lives between the words. So you have to consider these 3 questions: What am I not saying that needs to be said? What am I saying that's not being heard? What's being said that I'm not hearing? As for darkness, we can overpower it with gratitude. You can't feel angry and grateful at the same time. You can't feel afraid and grateful at the same time. I'm grateful for your comment :)

@Rock Star Today Yeah, I do agree. Those questions are what I think is the basis of a technique of solving conflicts that says we should speak what other's are saying with our own words. I am still surprised how much those two can differ despite talking in the same language. And when it comes to gratitude - maybe I should replace my fears with that, maybe that's the way. Thank you for your reply :)
