Another note: You have to be very careful about putting a bunch of glue in a grip like he did and shoving it on most throttle tubes. The glue can go through the hole at the end of the tube and glue the tube to the bars. Maybe his special throttle tube did not have a hole in the end of it.
Alex, We have plenty of riders who use rubber cement and report good results but we do recommend grip glue as the manufacturers state how it is designed to hold up the longest.
