Once, there was a legend about a part of this world that hid the last stone of the Past. All those who went looking for it, failed. Mysteriously disappeared. The stories that goes on and on for generations about this particular object stayed and until now, it was never to be found.
Until one day, a young man who joined a group, a caravan formed as part of an exploration team went to look for it. He was simply an ordinary person and this may or may not be his last journey. For years ever since he was young boy, he'd dream of becoming an explorer. Out of all the ones he would read and heard of, he was fascinated by the story of this one, it was his motivation to push forward in life and discover what has baffled those who look upon history. He hopes that he'll be the one who will find it and all will remember a mark he'll leave in history, that is if he does.

"Hey..." A man called out to him in the same carriage.

"It's just a story, maybe there's a tribe somewhere that killed those people or something."
"Ah, let's just hope that's not the case when we get there alright?"
The man simply laughed at what he said.
*Days passed, the caravan saw nothing in sight. Their supply of food and water were about to run low...*
The men at front were talking to each other.
"Shouldn't we be heading back?"
"I think we should, we won't last too long if we continued our search now."
"Damn... Nothing's been out here other than it being the wasteland that it is."
Just then, the clouds in the distance started to close in on them from above, the sky turning dark.
All of a sudden, the flash of lightning followed by the roars of thunder took them by surprise. The heavy rain started to pour down upon them. The strong push of the winds took them all one by one.
"HOLD ON!"
Screams were heard.
The caravan was being separated, each carriage being thrown away into the distance.
The carriage where the young man was about to become next. Only he and the other man were in it but he didn't expect that his companion would be thrown aside quickly, losing him in the constant rolling motion and finally hitting the ground once again. He loses consciousness for a while.
*_No one knows how much time had passed... Nor will the people witness of their fate but only to assume the same thing that happened to the others in the past that attempted the very same._*
"Ah!" He wakes up suddenly.
Looking around, he sees nothing but the same surface as it was before the violent storm that occurred. Except the very ground he stood upon was still wet, as water was still on his feet. The sky was calm, the winds gave him a gentle breeze.
And in a blink of an eye, as if time stopped. He soon sees what lies in front of him. A big floating stone that glowed underneath.
"Could it be...?"
"State your name, explorer."
Shocked by the fact that he heard a voice coming from it, he couldn't reply immediately.
"My.... Name...?"
The stone floats, not talking back.
"What... are you?"
"You shall know soon enough... Now your name"
"It's Tobias... Edgar Tobias."
"Name acknowledged."
The stone flashed, Tobias covered his eyes for a bit as the light grew brighter for a short while.
"Tobias." It called out to him.
"Yes..?"
"Like so many before you, eager to know why I am here. Cannot allow you to leave."
"But why? What is your true purpose? Why kill everyone who was with me before?"
"They aren't dead."
"...What?"
"They are waiting for you. The last piece of the puzzle that you are looking at right now."
"Puzzle?? What do you mean by this? How can I be the last piece? I must know!"
"...Everyone who would risk their life finding me and succeeded must pay a price if they really wish to discover me. My final resting place. It is you however whom I've been waiting for. For you are the last fragment, the most important one to complete it."
"What do I have to do with this?"
"You do not remember? The Past was once your home too."
"That's.... ridiculous! How can that be?"
"I have safely put into the archives of who you were in the Past. However, it is only possible to see if you accept it."

"I was never made to lie. Only to never answer or answer truthfully."
"Then tell me everything."
"Are you saying you want to know and that you are willing to accept what comes next?"
"I've dedicated my life to this. I won't back off even if it means this will be my final destination. So take me or kill me and lose your so called object."
The stone went silent for a bit. A quick flash and the man disappears.
