    There's 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place and so on. Each massive talent and creativity....
    then theres Taras Stanin. The master. Hands down. Multi lingual, intelligent, the real deal. Humble, no false fake bravado here. Such sound effects, vast vocal range, choreography, creativity, originality, over the top. Taras Stanin from Russia and Improver; TGE MASTERS.

    • @mikayla_collie
      @mikayla_collie หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      eh... i don't really agree with that...
      most of his routines are highly processed/edited. I would say he's a better 'musician', than he is a 'beatboxer'.
      you already mentioned improver, so that's a much better example of an actual beatboxer. they are close friends, though, and do routines together, so i can see how it's easy to make that comparison.

      This is a *very* TikTok take, but if you follow GBB you'll find some even crazier ones.

    • @goshhtt
      @goshhtt 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@mikayla_collieno offense to your opinion, but processing his covers with dist or reverb doesnt make it any less impressive, you can watch him on live streams and interviews do them with out any after effects and it sounds arguably just as good. The same goes for any instrumentalist, you wouldnt say a guitarist is only a musician bc he uses distortion, its just unfair to say that abt taras.

    • @mikayla_collie
      @mikayla_collie 10 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@goshhtt i'm just saying that there are a lot of people who have better technical skills, rather than musicality. which is true. like improver...
      also, you're right... i wouldn't say that "a guitarist is only a musician bc he uses distortion".
      I would say that distortion takes away from showing what he is actually doing.

    I first watched Taras whilst withdrawing from Opiates a few weeks ago. Withdrawing from opiates makes everything about 50× more sensitive, like you've been skinned alive and your chest opened up.
    I was so blown away by his skill that i cried like a baby. I'm now 4 weeks clean and can look back at it and laugh at my reaction.
    But still can't take away from the fact the guy has incredible talent.

    Listening to you describe the analysis of ANYTHING musical is beyond satisfying...YOU are amazing...if you are not teaching millions of people they are missing out. You are articulate, knowledgeable, passionate, engaging, and funny. You are like the perfect mix of artsy, and smart! The fact that you have all of that going for you..i see why you don't play up how beautiful you are. You are one of those triple threats...that don't seem to know it!

    Wow, super cool explanation of vocal sounds. I had no idea there was so much going on. As an audio engineer, this is super helpful knowledge. Thank you so much for sharing.

    Last comment (promise): I'd be super keen to see what you think of Fake and Autotune's recent GBB entry. A very clever use of acoustics to highlight different sounds, given that they can't edit it. Fake and Autotune is this guy, Taras, and Improver, named so because of how much people call them fakes. You should check it out, I think you'll be impressed!

    Jairo - begin by letting go cover
    OR
    GBB21 circle Jam (would be an amazing two part reaction im not sure if youll make it through that one alive 😂)
    Either one of those would be spectacular!
    Lastly i just wanted to say, thank you for well existing. You are so knowledgeable, funny, quirky, entertaining and positive and its truely a blessing for you to bring that energy to us all. I love all of your videos (beatbox especially) and i deeply appreciate you and your ability to bring me and many others such joy ❤

    First, humans taught machines to sing. Then, machines taught humans to sing better. Humans are now making sounds with their mouths that we have never made before, and we got it from electronic music.

    Real! Some people think bloody reverb is magic that makes someone able to sing something they can't. Ridiculous
