I accumulate gold, silver and cash. Historically when the stock market has crashed precious metals fall in the first half of the crash. Then they sky rocket in the second half. I have a big stack of metal to fall back on, but now I'm holding out for the metal crash to pick up more. The one thing I will NOT do is keep my extra dollars in the bank. Hell no!

I used to think having a large savings account of fiat was a good thing. Now it’s converted into metals and land and just waiting for things to unfold.
The tangibles are always very very nice! Especially land/property! Something you can get use out of as soon as you own and holds/grows it’s value! Awesome! Keep on stacking!
Thanks for the information above. My take on this is the following.: USA being over printing notes and nothing backing the notes currently. USA debt has been exploding out of proportion causing higher inflation and jittery financial market especially on imports, which again is a Debt that has to be paid at some stage. So for Example. USA Debt at 100 Billion Dollars Currently purchase as much gold as they can to back the dollar as a tangable commodity. Lets say US have Liquidity to purchse $60 Billion USD in Gold. They still $40 Billion in the red now. They have now backed the US currency at 60% of their current debt. This endeavour by the US Government to do this is to minimize their fragility to debtors. In other words when debtors ask for payment the US Federal Reserve Bank can commit to 60 % payment in Gold backed currency . So they reducing their vulnerability in the world market. They buying time for the balance of debt payments to be made to Debtors. Simultaneously they improving the local performance of the country to get out of this current mess. Inflation % will be reduced to more favourable number which will assist the people of the country. People and companies loans to financial institutions etc percentage will be more affordable. This what I think is the USA plan.
I agree one thousand percent. The only problem is. They can’t buy enough gold to cover all if not even 3 quarters of their debt. So that’s where I see that problem. But no matter what. They are going to continue to deceive and make it look better than it is because of the role the country plays in the world and how much so they want to look like they have it all figured out!
