I know I may be alone with this, but Tremors 4 was always my favorite. Since I was a kid I have always been a huge fan of Westerns and of the Tremors movies. When they combined the two, I found it irresistible!
I loved Tremors 1. Thought Tremors 2 was okay (it had its moments). Tremors 3 was okay but it was missing something. I've heard of Tremors 4, but didn't know anything about it and so I just didn't bother. I love Westerns, and now that I know that its set in a Western setting, I now want to watch it. Luckily, my parents bought the "Tremors 4-Pack" some years ago and so I have it and just need to pop it in & watch it.
Stampede being told, essentially, to either stay silent or take a hike certainly explains why the was such a tonal change with the 5th movie and on. Those felt more like standard over the top action movies with exaggerated stunts, and not nearly as fun as the first 4 (or the TV series for that matter).
4 was a great movie, it gives it generational History, there has to be a family connection, before this country was settled....like the Big Foot legends and the great spirit native folkloric stories
Fun Fact: Billy Drago also played the villain Bly in the TV series The Adventures of Brisco County Jr., which starred Bruce Campbell. That is a really fun TV series. My ranking of the Tremors films would be: 1. Tremors 2. Tremors 4 3. Tremors 2 4. Tremors 3 I've not seen the other films.
Just watched this a few months ago (along with 2 & 3), I though it would be bad. Nope, my second favorite tremors movie. Glad to see you giving it some love.
Tremors 4 is the third best and possible second best of the series. Tremors 2 was great and can't argue of 4 being on par to 2. It was great entry into the Tremor series.
I only watched this movie once, but I enjoyed it more than the third installment. I love a good, cheesy, campy horror movie and this one delivered more so than the third or later films. Micheal Gross actually got a chance to act in this movie and I think he did a great job! I mean, you hate his character at the start but by the end of the film, you're rooting for him! I also loved the sight gags and character humor in this movie, and I would like to see it again. Is it as good as the original Tremors? No! You can't top that organic mixture of horror and comedy along with that cast again. It was lightning in a bottle like Ghostbusters. That doesn't mean a sequel can't deliver some fun, though. I think this one is worth a watch if you've never seen it and like Micheal Gross as a character actor.
Personally I consider Tremors 4 the last good Tremors movie but also the first bad Tremors movie but not so bad that I would say that hate it like I do with Tremors 5-7. Tremors 4 was still pretty good.
The series has a similarly to firefly, in that it was aired in kinda the wrong order and canned after 1 series. I love these films, I have 1-4 box set, haven't seen anything after that. 🙈 didn't know about the first series only the newer one with kevin bacon which didn't take off, shame I was looking forward to seeing val once again.
I haven't seen more Tremors movies after this one, and to me it was the best of the sequels. A bit boring at times, I think it needed more editing, but it was far better than 2 and 3.
Which I don’t get because 4 currently is one of my favorites. I have but haven’t watched the last two. Didn’t know they existed until a few weeks ago. And bought the entire series of movies because of those two i had not seen.
Geographical location because he already fully owned land there makes total sense for half of the stuff Gummer says. Then the silver money makes sense for how much retired military stuff he has.
Worst!!! What I thought it was the best one next to the first!! Weird guess my opinions not popular that the first and last one (4) were the best ones..
I despise this movie. The pacing put me to sleep everytime. Concept-wise, it glues everything together, but once you start explaining the horror, you take away the mystery--which is what made the original film interesting. Perhaps the most unintentionally funny part is in this recap when the narrator says Michael Gross got to tweak his lines then we cut to Billy Drago's "That ain't in the script" look on his face 😂 6:47

It’s incredibly rare when a straight to video FOURTH installment to a franchise ends up being as solid as this. Easily the 2nd best in the series imo.
Tremors 1-4 are gold, everything after that is...shakey lol
Man I love this series so much. As a kid I always got excited when a new tremors movie popped up in stores
It's funny that Bert's ancestor in the old west was not into guns.
Because the actor who plays Burt Gummer is vehemently anti-gun.
@EatMe420is tremors a series that you had a lot of respect for?? I liked them but I'm not over here acting like it's Casablanca
@@joshs3775right? Agree
😂👍
@donovanchilton5817 Micheal Gross was never anti-gun.
He, as an actor, is against playing a character that kills other people.
Big difference.
It sets the precedent of Burt being a gun nut
What I love the most is that Michael Gross is back man. He is awesome.
To me part 2 is badass and the last great tremors movie
Have you watched it yet?
Tremors 4 could only really be found in a two-pack with the original anywhere near me, which might’ve caused some to refuse to buy as well
I thoroughly enjoyed this one. Billy Drago did a great job in it.
Finally got to play a good guy!
Love this one.....5, 6, 7 they are not bad cheap but not bad and jamie Kennedy adds a shot of humor
I love these movies grew up with tremors 1 and 2.
Wtf I watched 1-4 as a kid. Now I'm learning there's a TV show, 5, and others???
Stampede being told, essentially, to either stay silent or take a hike certainly explains why the was such a tonal change with the 5th movie and on. Those felt more like standard over the top action movies with exaggerated stunts, and not nearly as fun as the first 4 (or the TV series for that matter).
I think I'm in a rare group, this is is my second favorite of the franchise.
It's in my top three.
I grew up watching these movies with my grandma since I was like 5. 4 was always my favorite.
I actually really enjoyed this chapter. Of course, a big part of that is my fondness for the Deadlands Weird West rpg.
This film a real gem. Thanks for covering 🙏🏻 I’m going to go rewatch now 😊
My favorites go from 2,1,4,3
In my opinion this is the second best movie in the franchise, behind only the first, but by golly are they close.
My ranking of the Tremors films would be:
1. Tremors
2. Tremors 4
3. Tremors 2
4. Tremors 3
I've not seen the other films.
I enjoyed Tremors 4 and the others in the series the one that was in Mexico is my favorite I plan to buy the complete dvd series one day.
Props to you for being one of the only people to connect the silver mine and obvious wealthy lifestyle of Burt.
All very ironic, since I have it on good authority that, at the very least, the hard-core 'Tremors' fans actually LOVE this one. ; )
I don't remember much of this one. I love the first and think the second is really good too. Watched them so much as a kid
Just watched this a few months ago (along with 2 & 3), I though it would be bad. Nope, my second favorite tremors movie. Glad to see you giving it some love.

I liked it tbh. Probably my second favorite tremors
Just recently learned about this film and really enjoyed it
Honestly this one is low-key my favorite
Its one of my favorite westerns.
Tremors 4 is my favorite!
Great video, tremors 4 is my favorite.
2nd best Tremor movie after the 1st of course.
Personally I consider Tremors 4 the last good Tremors movie but also the first bad Tremors movie but not so bad that I would say that hate it like I do with Tremors 5-7. Tremors 4 was still pretty good.
I understand why it failed, I had fun watching it and Burt’s ancestors taking the tiny gun was my favorite part.
The series has a similarly to firefly, in that it was aired in kinda the wrong order and canned after 1 series.
I love these films, I have 1-4 box set, haven't seen anything after that. 🙈

Personally I felt like this was the best sequel of them all.
Which I don’t get because 4 currently is one of my favorites.
I have but haven’t watched the last two.
Didn’t know they existed until a few weeks ago. And bought the entire series of movies because of those two i had not seen.
1 and 4 are my favorites..
can you do wtf happened to tremors 5 next?
Yes this was one of the most anticipated sequels back in the day. Never seen any other fanbase wait so patiently for a sequel in my life
I love this film
there are 4 TREMORS movies
💡 💡 💡 💡
Surprised they won’t be a fourth one
Love this film
My favorite after 1 and 2 and 3
That's funny it was the least successful movie in the franchise cuz its my favorite one!
Geographical location because he already fully owned land there makes total sense for half of the stuff Gummer says. Then the silver money makes sense for how much retired military stuff he has.
When are you guys gonna break down the other 3 or 4 tremors movies come on guys you’ve had plenty of time now
i have seen all the tremors movies.
The tv serie was a real B pleasure..sadly they cut it...a lot should happened.killers robots..vampires..big insects if I remember correctly.
If the graboids we're in the wild West doesn't that mean the graboids we're in WW1 and ww2
The SciFi Channel.
Always a sick joke.
I love tremors 4 it's such a good movie! 5 and 6 is meh and 7 pretty darn good
What happened? It was Tremors FOUR.
I liked the show
One and two are masterpieces and all the rest suck so bad EXCEPT for this one. I actually like this and I normally hate prequels
I like the tremor franchise one was good. Two was good. Three was good four sucked Five was good six was good and tremors. Cold and hell was good.
What happened to Jason Hewlett?
Only liked Tremors 1
I thought it was the worst one of the lot lol It's the only Tremors movie I've never rewatched and never will, it bored me to tears.
Worst!!! What I thought it was the best one next to the first!! Weird guess my opinions not popular that the first and last one (4) were the best ones..
Man, if he would have proposed the drag idea today they would have thrown millions at the i.p.
Bad take on the men women and kids fighting nonsense. Predator was way cooler in 87 than the modern ridiculous macho woman BS of today.
I despise this movie. The pacing put me to sleep everytime. Concept-wise, it glues everything together, but once you start explaining the horror, you take away the mystery--which is what made the original film interesting.

I skip this when rewatching the series.
It's funny that Bert's ancestor in the old west was not into guns.
