- "Georgia on My Mind" is a 1930 song written by Hoagy Carmichael and Stuart Gorrell and first recorded that year by Hoagy Carmichael. It has often been associated with Ray Charles, a native of the U.S. state of Georgia, who recorded it for his 1960 album The Genius Hits the Road. In 1979, the State of Georgia designated Ray Charles's version the official state song.

So, thank you for your kind words. Frankly I am having a request , would it be possible for you to ask master Naudo to do one more lesson, like he did with "And I love her" with one of following songs : "New kid in town", "Feelings", "Petite Fleur", "Mambo No 5", "Woman in love", "Here, there and everywhere", or "Por Una Cabeza". I am already very grateful , so maybe I am a greedy one.... Greetings !

he use to sing his vocal chords were damaged as his ears he is partialy deaf and he appologises for notes he misses i have not heard one yet he is a master for sure

I have been thinking about this for long now. Most of his followers and people who get amazed with his superb playing are initiated in music. The rest only compare with their studio/band music-arrangement recollections. Some in the bar must think there is some sampler or equipment doing the baseline and other recorded arrangements. That is, most of the listeners are not a bit aware of what they are facing right before their noses. Not exactly sad, it is like this with most refined stuff in the world. People are just not equipped to recognize true stuff.

Someone needs to buy this nikka a better guitar. One more suited to his playing style and not at tin y sounding. Sounds like he is using .010 strings. If he switched to .12s it would be way better.
