I think it's deflection.. It wouldn't sound good if a woman said "I can't Respect a man who doesn't make what I make".. So instead they will say "men are intimidated by my income". It's a slick way to justify why their asking for a man with a certain income. And it creates the illusion that the man is the one who has the problem. Not her..

I’m happily in the 6 figure range and happily married. I have never had to work over 40 hours if I didn’t want to. Max, maybe 45 hours here and there over some periods of my career. I work hard at my job and I don’t need to hustle. I get paid very well for the work that I provide to my company, and then I go home. I’ll be damned if I spent four years in college and then training, only to be nearly 40 years old and putting in 70 hours per week and working multiple jobs or managing multiple streams of income. My life is about as stress-free as I could imagine, which is worth much more than a little extra money.
This woman on here explains exactly why women outlive men. Heart disease and primarily stress. Men have enough outside stress and then come home to more stress and pressure. This kills people, and listening to this woman shows exactly why.

A guy could be an electrician making $110,000 per year and that's all he wants to do but since he won't go start his own electrician business he's not ambitious. He's happy with the great income and the 411 k match and pension. A woman would leave this man & later tell everybody he just didn't want to "grow". And when you start digging into the past of some of these womens story who are claiming men don't grow or are shiftless you start to see they just were bored.

I don't know why women keep circulating this lie that men are intimidated by them.
    There is no intimidation.
There's two things happening : 1. YOU lead with money, and it is off-putting to a man that doesn't care about money. We simply don't like your attitude. A lot of you lead with money and it is not attractive. Men with money don't care about your money.
    2. When you do make more money than your man, you throw it in his face overtly or sneakily. Of course the man starts to resent you when you make him feel less than in that way.
None of these things have to do with being intimidated.

In my 22 years and 338 days of life, I’ve often seen women try to change men into their ideal. For example, a woman might meet a man working as a firefighter, only to later expect him to become fire chief within a few months. While men should strive for stability and growth, not everyone is looking to climb the career ladder. Just like in sports, not everyone needs to be the star-role players are vital too. Women should respect a man’s contentment with his life and stop trying to mold him into something he’s not.

It takes a lot out of them to do certain things. They have physical strength but its a lot that put strain on men. Women want to transform men into something he's not, then they get disappointed when he can't live up to what she had in mind. Men fall short and will continue to fall short because the expectation for them is to high.

In all the years of being a man I've never had a conversation with another man where they have said or indicated that they were intimidated by how much a woman makes. There are however, always conversation about how women in certain positions think that they can denigrate people who don't make as much as them. And I'm glad Kendra brought up the mentality issue because that's what it actually is and not this story women like to tell is fictitious.

I dont understand how Kim didn't get the memo. On top of that, she's willing to throw everything away for a man because she claims she wants a provider so she can sit around the house and cook for him and stuff lol. It just doesn't make any sense. She's trying to do too much, and wants everything. Delulu.

Let's be honest, most women don't listen or care to know what men want. You would be surprised if you talk to enough women 40 + that they still don't know that men don't care about their education, how much money they make, and they are not intimidated.
I never forget the lady that came on the show who was about 5'6 and 200 lbs and was about 45 years old and said "I make 6 figures, I got the great house, my own money and a Tesla" as things that she thought men would value.

    • @candacewilliams3285
      @candacewilliams3285 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

Well no they don't listen to what men want, they do but they make it into what they want to hear. They care, they just don't really want to accept the person they would have to be to play that role to appease the man. They would rather make up fantasy, fairy tale, princess stories of how they want it to be, yet never wanting to look at and accept the reality of the position they're chasing. That keeps them delusional.

One thing that gets overlooked on the “provider” conversation is that being a provider isn’t the same for every person or every household. A man making $70k can be the sole provider of a household of two adults and one kid if they live in an apartment. They can own two used vehicles and can travel within 1000 miles for a decent vacation for a week over the summer. While this isn’t ideal for everyone, THIS is providing. The issue is that too many people (women especially) want the provider to provide every luxury and dream that they can think of at a moments notice. Ie. Dropping everything and then going on a two week trip, for no particular reason. Or going on regular $10k shopping trips.
What these women need to come out and say is that they want to be able to quit their current job, stay at home and have little to no responsibilities or stress, spend the man’s money….while having no noticeable decrease in lifestyle.

I dated or was courted by a guy, we got to know who and what we both were. We made decisions on how we were going to move forward from that point on. It's called realistic priorities. Income conversations are not "dating" conversations. Any person can have a high income, but can that income make up for a crappy personality, low life character flaws, disrespectful attitude, bad hygiene, to name a few?
