As always Jordan thank you for an amazing video that goes above and beyond. I only wish you could make it to Mississippi one day for a seminar. Your teachings are life changing brother.
It's kind of crazy that a lot of coaches don't explain how the pressure of the choke actually works, and why it works, like what part of the neck you need to apply pressure to, with what part of your body, and how. I started watching your videos like a month ago after my first 3 sessions of bjj and i already got my first taps after 5-6 sessions, I learn a lot thanks to you ! You"re the man
This so much. There are black belts and there are black belts. Unfortunately we all have to work with what we get. So really appreciate these videos @@JordanTeachesJiujitsu
🤯 HOW IS THIS AMAZING CONTENT FREE?!?!? Front chokes are my fave, and I've watched Jordan's OG D'Arce vid a million times. This vid expands on that ssooo well. Love the arm-in guilly details (it's my favorite choke), and I love how you explain the entries, as that's the part I struggle with the most during rolls. Thank you for this content, bruh! You makin' me more dangerous 🐍
Haha thank you!! This video actually started out as me just now wanting to redo that old video quick. Figured it would take only a day or so. Then I figured I might as well make a full front head lock video. Took forever to make but worth it 🙏
It seems most Jiu Jitsu content on social media is shortening people's attention span, and subsequently creating an impulse for flashy sequences at the expense of substantive understanding. Thanks for elaborating on this problem mentioned in your most recent Talk-Jitsu podcast with a solution.
Thanks man! Case on point is this video not performing well lol. My fault for making it 17 minutes but I knew the ones who would watch it would appreciate the depth 🙏
If your first video on darces and anacondas was gold, this video is PLATINUM. So much detail, so much rewatchability, and so many reasons to share it with my training partners. Absolutely love it. Thank you for the lessons🙏🙏🙏👊
I have been training for nearly a decade and you're the first I've seen to cover how to properly ensure a darce choke is tight by pulling the elbow back under the armpit to close off the space and be in correct alignment. Myself and so many I know have struggled wondering why it's so hard to finish a darce. Well, now I know what I've been doing wrong! Thank you for your awesome videos!
Me and my kids have been watching Jordan for about a year. He’s a blessing for TH-cam and we’re grateful to have his library to pick a blackbelts mind. Thank you.
The first time I learned guillotines as a white belt, I thought I was getting strep throat a few days later. Eventually, when no other symptoms arrived, I realized that I just had a bruised throat from getting guillotined so many times 😂
The guillotine was the 1st choke i actually learnt as a white belt and got a few taps out of it. The second was the D'arce. Tbh, now that i've learnt a lot more submissions, i have never hit a guillotine since 😥
Great video! I personally love the Darce. It's easily one of my favorites to go for. I'm still learning though, and have both been cranked by these and (I'm sorry to admit) done the cranking. I'll definitely be implementing these ideas!
Such a good teacher. The scissor analogy has been a game changer to my chokes. The soft part of the neck rather than the hard part of the neck is a lightbulb moment. Keep it up Jordan. Cant believe this is free content
Thanks man! I probably spend more time on one video than most do on a whole instructional tbh. Always happy to give back to the community and make it easier to learn BJJ than it was when I was learning 🙂

Hello Sen Jordan.. I’m from Mexico and I really liked this video. For now I’m very interested on this kind of locks 🙏🏼 I’m grateful for this quality info
👊Old guy here. Love the theory course - Outstanding info. Appreciate the quizzes to make sure we get the key points of that section, very cool & effective (had to redo a few!). Definitely want to drill on these chokes for sure. Thanks for all the awesome content. Blessings folks.
I went from discounting arm triangles to them being my favorite submission, and now the guillotine which I used to almost never use is one of my favorites. All because of your videos! They're the best
I am a white belt with 8 classes only. Once a week kinda dude. I am going to secretly watch all of Jordan’s videos.. I can’t wait to try them and then get humbled by the blue and purple belts 😂
Great vid, i struggled for ages with gullotines am good at catchin ppl in them as u say loads expose the head all time but i struggled getin the sub as i squeezed an neck cranked and was trying to choke in same way as a RNC which was completely wrong, many thanx for vid!
"The pursuit of perfect technique should always be the goal." Thank you. Never understood why some coaches encourage poor technique during practice for "the tap."
Many even state that a neck crank is just part of a darce 🤦. Figuring out how to do things better and more efficient is always on my mind when rolling and teaching. Others should adopt the same approach. Perfection is the standard 🙃
Just hit a d'arce tonight after so long thanks to your advice. Gonna force myself to do more guillotines so I can finally stop saying I don't know how to do em
my mma instructor is a wrestler and boxer, all of the chokes we do are kind of plain and not in depth but thanks to jordan and his videos I can fuck up bjj people in bjj ruleset

A proper Canadian! Osss! Seriously, thank you.
Totally right! This is the best instructional content on TH-cam.
Agreed. This is very high quality stuff.

Thanks man! Sometimes I go to above and beyond at my own detriment lol. But it's worth it always. I hope it make it out there sometime 🙏
I love this one. Thanks for another top-notch video 👊
Glad you enjoyed it 👊
Super thanks
Jordan do you think you can compete against Gordon Ryan if so that be cool to know
My competive nature and ego wants to say yes but in reality he's too big/strong. I'd love to see how I stack up against a natty Gordon Ryan.
niñee

I absolutely agree. My jiu jitsu has gotten significantly better learning these techniques he highlights.
Watched your video before training and just pulled off my first darce choke🎉
That's amazing man, great work! Happy to see my hard work pays off for you guys 🙂
Fantastic video. You are a uniquely good teacher. I think you communicate the key details very clearly.
Thanks man! I'm always thinking about how to teach and explain things better. Glad it's recognized and appreciated 🙏

Been watching this video 2-3 times a day everyday… thank you for making such high quality content. It really helps
Oss.. first time I've seen actual choking mechanics
It's wild to me none of the stuff is every talked about. I had to figure it out for myself 🙃
Excellent and informative video sir ✊🏽✊🏽
Glad you think so 🙏
Thanks so much I've been working darces for months and the pulling back your arm detail after the deep grip is exactly what I haven't been doing
It'll make a huge difference! Happy to help 👊
Just what I needed!
Thank you 😂😊 👍

Front head lock system!!?😮
Exactly what I’ve been looking for

Whenever a new Jordan teaches jiu-jitsu video comes up I immediately push the like button, because I know it's going to be awesome!
wow i needed this, i get these chokes locked in but never finish or get the tap
Time to get some taps 💪
Your videos are hands down the best I've found. I don't want to watch anything else. This is gold. Thank you so much for the work you put into these.
Those were great tips Jordan. I always had difficulty finishing those chokes.
Thanks man! Difficulty no longer 💪
Liked and saved even before watching. Because I know how good it will be.
You're the man 👊
these details are just gold
I will definitely try the arm in gullotine again
And maybe that pervian necktie can transit with these three chokes
Definitely the Peruvian necktie fits in. It's just not my favorite but it's a decent sub 🙂
Great video! I personally love the Darce. It's easily one of my favorites to go for. I'm still learning though, and have both been cranked by these and (I'm sorry to admit) done the cranking. I'll definitely be implementing these ideas!
I've had to crank more necks than I would have liked to learn how not to. Definitely this will clean up your darce 🙏👊
Excellent video as always thank you
Thanks!
Your editing is really impressive in this video instructional and as always your content is top-notch. Amazing content, thank you for sharing!
Great Choke Bite Details
Thank you! I have really been needing this. You are the best.
Awesome vidéo bro ! Super thanks !

Do you use the front head lock system when your in the gi? I find these types of chokes very difficult in gi rather then no gi.
Here in Brazil we call it the hand triangle. Who does very well is Charles from the Bronx, in the UFC.
Tony Ferguson did it too
thank you me Jordan for always blessing us
Best headlock video ever. Thank you.
Thanks for this! Very helpful as always😊
Wow! Great instruction on the three chokes from front headlock position! This is Gold! 🙏 👊
