Glad I found this, it used to be my go-to bunker for the longest time and I've been trying to find a new way to build it with no success. You can use this core with the stair bunker mechanic but it just isnt the same at all since you lose out on one whole triangle in the core and its way more expensive to seal. Still sucks you cant use this as a starter but not a huge deal
You can't fit as many vertical barrels because of the top of the door frame unfortunately, I mean you can fit only 2 on the top shelf which isn't very convenient.
I wish this video explained literally anything about how this is done. Its pretty frustrating because I can follow the steps exactly as they appear and cant ever place the triangle to seal
I am a Rust noob. Does is work like that ? Like a bomb shock wave ? You can breake something on the other side of a wall/floor, without breaking the wall/floor itself ? How much damage ? Would it help to upgrade to wood ? Then again, they need to know the bunker type and layout.
Can someone explain to me why Bunkers are a meta? You have to use 200 fragments everytime you decide to leave your base. Is it just way harder to raid a bunker with their being no doors to break through? I need a math explanation
So you close it when you go offline not everytime you leave the base obviously, and it's 7 HQM for a cost of 15 rockets to raid, not changing anything to your doors number or the way you build your base in the case of a god bunker like this one.
love the bunker small quick and efficient. I noticed that you cant fully honeycomb all around tho. Im trying to incorporate a second floor with an airlock entrance. any work around that?
You can fully honeycomb it if you built it like I did, don't forget to break the offset wall and to place it back from the inside, and most important : have the bunker twig frame placed while honeycombing all around ;-)
Not working for me the center triangle is always too close to other foundations, and the couple times i have been able to get it placed stability is all normal..
@@Mergl-rust so i think i got the first part down. Im able to move to the left and place two more foundations while looking for that little shimmy change. I think my main issue is the middle triangle you have to put shortly after. Sometimes cant put the walls cause it says to close to foundation but sometimes i do get it but the stability on the top is only 31% instead of 11%
So after building it successfully around 100 times I found out that the way to make it work everytime is : 1. place the foundations you're standing higher than the foundations you're building the base with, I would say around 1/4 and 1/2 foundation higher ; 2. place the square foundations you will use to start building slighly above the ground, not too close to the terrain otherwise sometimes you can't create the double pixelgap or it looks like you can but you can't place the last wall of the circle base.
@@Mergl-rust Thanks! That is indeed working, last question for the middle triangle you are trying to attach in to the middle square right? not right or left? I keep getting 39 or 49 percent instead of 10 :(
@@antoniomphotography 100% sure, I didn't take time to explain everything but you have to be extra careful where you stand when placing stuff and also what you connect everything to. I only play vanilla and I built it like 20 times already.
@@antoniomphotography It is extremely sensitive. One wrong placement and it do not work. One wrong snap and its gone. You basically have to build exactly like he/others do, the same order, the same sequence. If you are not sure what needs to be connected to what, you can build it 30-40 times before it works.
i have been using this desing for the past 3 wipes. its really good. raiders always run out of boom before they can get inside the core. thanks!

Till your mate accidentally upgrades it
Thank you, very simple
very demure
Nice Job!
But I bet you would fit some small boxes into that space if you use some vertical barrels :)

maybe it's Rahlo Napolitana bunker?

My last video explains everything step by step ;-)
The harder to make, the lesser people use it. And the feeling when you finally master it, is that much better.
cant you just drop a satchel on the roof there and the splash damage break that interior thatch?

Okay but how do you get in???
i cant honeycomb the wall that is connected to the twig wall frame for bunker
Probably because you forgot to destroy it and build it from the inside, everything explained here : th-cam.com/video/SPExDMI9hYk/w-d-xo.html

Does the go out 8 twice method still work? I don't quite understand why this works with the come left to right motion on the 3 squares.
Unfortunately no it got patched long ago. I loved this method because you could build a basic starter base and make it a god bunker later on.
Not working for me the center triangle is always too close to other foundations, and the couple times i have been able to get it placed stability is all normal..
You have to get as close as possible to the hole and watch you feet when placing it and it will work 100%.
man im new to this mechanic, could you please add some commentary or text on key points. Im in a build server and i just cant get that 11% stability.
the closest i got was 31% stability on the top when you check for it to be 11%
@@FlukeyDeer I will. I never edited a video before so it might take a couple days.

Does it work on console
Great explanation and tutorial. I’m sure everyone will take time in pausing the video and learning wtf is going on as us noobs have that patience.
Too much time to build it... It's impossible to do it like on 300pop... If you play in 50pop ok
when placing the squares i get this jiggle to happen only one out of every few times, know how i can get it to be more consistent?

Don't works on official servers!
It works on any server, official, vanilla, doesn't matter.
