I had a buddy who swore by plastic worms, but I've never had any luck with them - I'm mostly a spinner bait and swim bait kind of guy when it comes to bass, walleye, pike, trout, etc. But I've always wanted to catch em on a Texas rig, and you guys make it look so easy lol So far, the only bottom presentation I've had success with (other than slow rolling a spinner or swim bait) is a chatter bait with a craw as a trailer - caught a nice pike a couple weeks ago just as the lake started thawing.
