It's probably bcz in all fields(engineering, medicine etc)you'll find a position for software programming. For example, companies require their own applications and software programms.

i don't think there are much placement opportunities in either btech cse or BCA but haan if you have interest in programming and coding and can learn them through online resources then BTech cse is good. Also you can prepare for GATE exam for masters.
Ohh i come from lower middle class family how i am going to pay tuition fee of 20 lakh in Newton. Another point bank also provide loans upto 10 lakh collateral fee.cgpa matters really for tier 3 college.
