It's kinda crazy how bad street cars that are competitive are so bad on fuel. I have many great but useless cars that cars that can barely do 2 laps. Great video ❤
You have to generally run them on weaker fuel maps to even get 4 laps with some of the higher end cars. The 2002 Dodge Viper is honestly not bad. Even though I run it on Fuel Map 6, with close to 900hp, it decimates the field and I can just get 4 laps out of it on Sardgena.
You don’t need to engine swap, just use the R92cp, you can get that under 800pp with medium slicks. You can lap the track around 1:31 finishing the race in just over 23mins. It’s also a single pitstop car at around lap 8/9 if you set the fuel map to level 2 on the first stint then on the final stint level 1.
Agreed on the Tokyo grind, the Sardenia race is much better and although the rain seems pretty consistent at LeMans, I prefer that one as well. Enjoy the content, keep up the good work
@@LukeCannotSkate It is. The field you're up against feels unreasonably fast for 600pp and somehow still handle well. Like, you don't need the greatest handling for that race, but still.
Iv played gt from the start and grinding for coin for a very long time. I 100% agree with you this is by far and away the best one for grinding and actually enjoying the drive. I find this one fun to try out strange cars to see how they fair against the race cars lol.
This is by far my favourite track for grinding. But I use the GT-R GT500 '08.Cost 1000,000. Tinker a little to get to 799.79 RP...race hard tyres...full lean for first 10 laps or so and you'll have the lead due to others pitting then put in and go hard to end for fun. Hard race to lease clean race bonus👍
@Aurous9 car handles like a dream tuned down to 799 pp. Almost a cheat code. Enjoy!! Also my favorite track to rack up credits. A must try in my opinion
The R34 GTR is actually in Brand Central since it's the 2002 version and it therefore just makes the cut to appear in Brand Central. It is still indeed pricey though. You can also do the Suzuki Escudo on 2 stops with Fuel Map 4.
Great video mate, great start to a Thursday seeing you upload. Have you thought about doing a video on the new gt7 they brought out "My First Gran Turismo"? It might be a good video
@@Aurous9 It's a matter of tweaking so you can make the cut. Honestly, anything with 520+ HP, good fuel efficiency and super good handling will get the job done. ie. Late 2000's onwards Group 2 cars.
When you grind for engine swaps, you're already pretty far in the game and at max. collector levels, so why punish yourself with races that are no fun? Sardegna is a flowing course, the Skyline is easy to drive fast consistently and the engine swap allows you keep up with faster cars. It is frustrating when you have a car that is handling great but it just lacks the power to keep up on straights and you have to use something less pleasant to drive. The VGT races are a bad example, at least I wasn't good enough to keep up with using "realistic" cars so I had to punish myself with the Porsche EV battleship over six races.
I love this track.. i just started playing gt7 and i don’t understand why there is so little tracks worth grinding.. why spend 30 mins at a tracks for 200k when you can do the same amount of time for 750k.. 😢
Want to like this idea but i can do faster laps than that just using the 787 with no pissing about and only the cost of the car itself, sorry, i just do not get why go through all that.
This car is just easy mode, after using it for a while to build cash, i now try other shit cars for a challenge. And you're a loser if you do the wall grind cheat at Tokyo...Weak!
@Aurous9 2.000.000 credits, not so expensive. Yes, we have to wait for the car in legends shop but the car is one of the best, the 3rd after the escudo and the f1 honda. Motor swap is expensive too, not everybody has the motor from ticket roulette and not everyone has level 50
It's kinda crazy how bad street cars that are competitive are so bad on fuel. I have many great but useless cars that cars that can barely do 2 laps. Great video ❤
Yeah it’s a shame. I don’t know if it’s improved efficiency of the race engines or a larger fuel tank
@@Aurous9irl race cars have smaller fuel tanks.
@@Aurous9 It's probably a mix of both, plus race cars generally have different fuel systems than road cars.

I'd say the mazda3 would be a close competitor to this swap with the 787b engine, awd and rotary noises plus the best fuel consumption

You don’t need the engine swap, but it is very fun to use and more accessible to obtain than the R92CP

Thank you!
The Tokyo race must be the most awfully designed race I have personally ever encountered in a GT game lol

This one is my favourite, but I do need to try more of the race engines here!
I really prefer smaller channels nowadays and yours is a perfext example. Keep going dude
Thank you so much!

I agree this is my main squeeze. It's hard to get penalties
LM55 VGT is my go-to for this race. I always lap everyone with no problem and can get 11 laps on fuel map 1. Easy $$
I’ll have to try that!

Oh I wasn’t aware it was in brand central, that makes it even better!
Great video mate, great start to a Thursday seeing you upload. Have you thought about doing a video on the new gt7 they brought out "My First Gran Turismo"? It might be a good video
Thank you mate! I have thought about it, I didn’t realise it was releasing so soon. Only noticed when I saw videos about it…
My First Gran Turismo will give an R32 ticket when completed so that would be a start for newer players and hope the engine swap drops from a ticket.
Oh nice! That makes this swap even better then!
Can u please do a video on what tune is on the car
The tune is shown at the end of the video. All race upgrades, then tuning settings are shown
have you tried the the mazda 787b on this race ? its my go to, I haven't tried the r34 here before so ill give it a shot
I tried the 787b a while ago, but that’s before they changed a lot of the PP ratings

woldent it just be better to use the tomahawk or the any of the lm55's
You could do, but this way you can use a GT-R
although this is fun, i rather use the nissan r92cp. fantastic car to drive

Mazda rodaster swap on top

WRONG. WHY DON'T U USE THE Nissan 92 RCP????????!!!!!!!!! OR THE MAZDA LMP? 1 pit stop for a 15-lap race. U NOOB
I think your caps lock is on
@@Aurous9 SO? WHO CARES?
Why? I mean, just get the nissan r92 and set it at 800 pp. It is the best car in sardegna
R92CP is very expensive and doesn’t appear in legend car options. These are also easier to get to a lower PP
