Looks like another beautiful ceremony and it appeared to be very well attended. I'd like to make it to the Indian summer Festival here in Milwaukee provided they have enough sponsors to operate it. Some of the grounds they've had it on have raised the prices for rent and the casino has no outdoor area thanks for the coverage
Good video Nancy. I haven't been to a powwow that much lately. I like the food at these places and the dancers are interesting especially the native veterans. We just need a railway line beside the powwow grounds , that would be cool. Have a good weekend Nancy.
I have some news articles and information I copied from News Papers about the Huron Bay Railroad along with info on Nestoria. I've put them together in notebook form. I would like to donate them, but have no idea where to go. I'm going to be up in that area Friday the 2nd, if you could guide me in the right direction. You could have them if you wanted.
@@nancyhaun That would be fine. I am probably staying in Marquette on Thursday night and would be heading that way about 10:00 am and would be over there about 11:30 if that would work. We plan on going to Huron Bay if up that way works better for a meet. I'm flexible
Awesome Nancy thanks for sharing this
LOved doing it!
Great video Nancy. I always enjoy seeing our native American culture.
Thank you!
Chi miigwech Nancy! I wasn't able to make my tribe's powwow this year but now I can at least see the grand entry. 💛💛💛💛
Happy to do it for those who can't be there in person!
@@nancyhaun Miigwech! 💙

THat would be awesome Mike! But right across from the campgrounds is the end of the line and the rails are slated to be taken up this year!
@@nancyhaun Oh ok , aw that's too bad though.
Anyone get a glimpse of a tall handsome man in the crowd? Thats me.
Of course!
In Baraga? Very unique. Is there special food? Is it annual? Thank you Nancy, how nice to watch. ben/ michigan
Annual for 46 years now and yes special food!
Is it just me or was the grand entry bigger this year?
