I’m re-reading the series and I come back to listen to this every time I pick up one of the books. The music + the sounds is UNBEATABLE. Reading doesn’t feel the same without it!!
This music is so good!! It makes the whole reading experience thousand times better and it fits so well with all of the Percy Jackson books. I just love it so damn much.
I'm reading the Iliad for school and let me say this makes the whole thing 50% better! I LOVE the sword, bow, and people sounds so much! This has entered my study rotation for sure!
I've been rereading the Percy Jackson series and this has been playing on loop for hours! The soundtrack and other sounds make me feel like I'm on a quest with my favorite heros!! 💕💕
I just read The Lightning Thief listening to this while reading the beginning and the ending of the book (at some point, in the middle, I used another soundtrack). But it was game changing. The emotional value brought by the same music again at the end is insane. I'm probably reading the rest of the series.
I'm reading Percy Jackson right now for the first time, and I think I am going to love it if this music, and the intro are any indication! I can't remember when or if I last got so excited or immediately engaged by the opening of a book like this story!!! It's so good!
you'll have many books to come! besides PJO having 6 books now, (7 and 8 coming soon) there are 2 sequel series with 5 books each. (Heroes of Olympus and Trials of Apollo)
This is just an exact copy of the DVD Home loading screens music. I fell asleep to this every night for a whole summer what seems like a lifetime ago seeing as it was before I had both my children.
Currently reading the first book in the series and finally getting into it with this sound track These are my brothers books so he finally let me borrow the first series I’m on chapter 10 right now
I’m listening to this while writing a story about a music camp. My camp has archery is one of the recreational activities, so it really helps with the scene. There are four groups, music performance, music composition, music business, and music production. Each group has two cabins, one for each gender, eight campers to a cabin. There’s also a dining pavilion as well along with an amphitheater, where all the performances and campfires are held.
I’m almost done with the 4th book, Battle of the Labyrinth! I started the first book in 6th grade I’m now 18 and graduated but finally getting around to reading more. (I’m normally a writer and make short films so I usually don’t have time to read doing these but I’ve been trying to make more) so it’s been a huge part of my life :)
So far I like this I was reading the first book the music and background noise somehow actually helped me read it better and I was more into the book (milo)
say what you will about the movies, but it had some amazing moments (percy saying "this is a PEN" or him falling mid-combat) actors were good too. I just wish they would follow more closely to the books because the books are amazing.
I've recently been struggling with reading The Mark of Athena since I'm not a big fan on Annabeth and to me it seems to be themed around her but I'm hoping this can help!
(I haven't read the books yet, I'm about to, so this is just about the movies) What I sorry the most about the movies is that it wouldn't be a problem for me if they were altered in a way that they were technically unrecognizable and as if the books and the movies were two different stories, but at the same time, the same. What bugs me about those two movies is that the dialogues are so clichéd and contain no fantasy, except for several, Percy knows how to wield a sword just right away, he takes apparently zero time to practice with the flying shoes, yet while fighting Luke, he can use them just as perfectly as the camp leader. Nobody says anything like "you're a demigod which means you need much less practice than regular humans do with anything" (or maybe they did emphasize this, right now I don't recall). Even if this was the case, it'd make the movie less gripping because otherwise you'd get to see how Percy really is just a regular kid, even though he is not because he's a demigod and it's not at all easy to become a talented demigod in battle. And a question comes hand-in-hand with this: why do they have to train this hard, why don't they just use the weapons just as immaculately, after all, they're demigods. Annabeth and Percy became so close just right away, you could see that they have chemistry and they don't even try to hide it which means you won't get surprised by the ending, where Annabeth leans in to kiss him - only to distract him, which can actually surprise people in a positive way. Everything is calculable with their relationship. As for Grover, he had so much potential, yet his character consisted 75% of hormones and how much he is driven by sex. It's not the personality trait, it's the amount - and I know that he's much different in the books. His other part was at least about helping and being a good friend. As for Luke... him being so helpful with the newbie only makes him suspicious to the point when you are likely not to be dumbfounded when it turns out he is the antagonist. I mean, who'd be this helpful with someone they've just met and have nothing in it in return? Judging by the first few scenes with him, I'd calculate on him being a more talented player in treachery who does not give himself away that easily, only when he means to, when if the reveal plays on his side. My point is, I had seen an advice on Pinterest that has stayed with me ever since: "What is it your characters truly want? And what can you - as a writer - do to prevent them from getting it?" And this is what I missed.
It’s like a Percy Jackson video game loading screen I love it

@@campistaazul6974 all in the name of representations
They already ruined the cast
Just watched the first two episodes and despite the cast not being book accurate I loved what they did with the show it just felt right
