Exploring Pratapgarh Fort, The Legacy of Shivaji Maharaj | Mahabaleshwar Tourist Places Maharashtra

Hi Guys, If you're planning to visit Mahabaleshwar then you must go for ahalf day trip to see the Pratapgarh Fort which is located just 30 KM from Mahabaleshwar town. The famous battle of Pratapgarh was fought here in 1659 between Shivaji Maharaj and the general of Bijapur Afzal Khan. In this battle Shivaji Maharaj killed Afzal Khan with his big lion nails. Today most of the part of the Fort are broken and government is doing restoration work. Watch this blog to see the current status of this glorious fort.
