@@helamanavalos9806 brian is still a touring member and good friends with lynn - it may be a solo project now but going back to earlier works you can definitely see the influences of brain and *, as well as lynns transition into producing, in how their music evolved. its honestly kind of disrespectful to not acknowledge the work that other people have put into creating music. its also not like the others ever minded that lynn was the driving force behind their vision (as stated in numerous interviews) ever since they became pvris and lynn was upgraded from just a guitarist to lead vocals; people's relationship with art and music is complicated and being a touring member and enjoying the music is enough to say that there is a group still involved
You were born to do this, Lynn. You're such a powerful, consistent force of nature, and I hope you never forget that or doubt your impact on so many of us. I hope you never stop making music, because there is NO ONE else out here doing it like you. You're fucking unreal.
The whole album concept, especially the visuals, gives me some kind of angel vibes. Caravaggio’s angels, to be exact. With a slight twist of emotional and psychological challenges, and socially critical elements.
i’ve been here since st. patrick and watching pvris evolve over the years has been so truly magical. i’ve literally grown up with pvris and it’s always been a constant in my life and as a young(ish) lesbian, i cant even begin to articulate how much this band means to me and how much they’ve helped me through tough shit and figuring myself out. thank you for sharing your art and your soul with me, i genuinely cant wait for the release 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
