I love how the synths that makes up the theme just loop the entire song, but Burne is able to construct such a beautiful and evolving melody over a simple loop. Paired with extremely powerful and beautiful lyrics sung with such passion. Just an amazing man and band. Wish they never broke up
All I can say about this is... this was FUN!!! The video, the song, and your reaction, especially your reaction, put a smile on my face!! 😄 Thanks Rebeka!!
5 seconds more and David asks the crowd, "Are there any questions?" I passed up seeing them on this tour, at a small venue, for $2. Someone (college) won some tickets and had an extra, an hour before the show and offered it to me for $2. I talked to them after and what they described was exactly the concert movie later. Am I a total moron? Yes, obviously. I had a date about to start and there was only the one ticket so I passed on it and comforted myself thinking it was gentlemanly. We went to dinner and though she was quite beautiful she didn't have a lot to say. Until some friends passed by and brought up the ticket thing. Then she just looks at me and says, "I would have gone in a minute. You might be an idiot." So that happened.
The Talking Heads were one of the bands that helped usher in a creative wave of new music (along with the Police, Blondie, DEVO, the Boomtown Rats, and others), moving away from the conventions of the 70s 'classic rock' sound that had grown stale by '76-77. The Talking Heads have so many great tracks. I hope you find some more that bring you lotsa happy in your reaction vids. Cheers!
The live, concert movie, "Stop Making Sense," is one of the greatest concert movies ever produced, and it really shows both the creativity and live energy of The Talking Heads. Watching this movie really made me take a second look at the band. In addition to that, this movie was one of the earliest movies of Johnathan Demme, who later on directed "Silence of the Lambs." And the second keyboardist in this performance, is the late, great Bernie Worrell, who worked with the Talking Heads for several years, but he was best known for (and inducted to the RRHoF with,) Parliament/Funkadelic.
Life During Wartime from this same concert is a really high-energy performance, and one of a kind. I know nothing about the Talking Heads, except that the whole video is amazing!
Highly recommend life during war time live by talking heads, also Prince live at superbowl + a band called the midnight. Really good to see someone else enjoying music! 😃
You are awesome. I liked your reaction video. It's fun watching you get into the music and hear your opinion on songs. Stay cool Rebeka. Thank you for having me. 😎👍

This performance is part of "Stop making sense" movie, which has been said to be the "Citizen Kane" of music videos with its film noir atmosphere. Good pick and background story; I didn't take this as a love song, but it evidently it is.
I also loved the video…however I don’t get the Citizen Kane/film noir reference. It doesn’t have the film noir vibes - that would be more of a way to describe the structure of a film.. However I would compare it to Citizen Kane in terms of being one the most influential and greatest concert films of all time.
another great reaction as always I love your reactions and your taste in music since you like Talking Head you should check out the group 311 if you havent ever heard them already they have some great music I dont know if there is anything on youtube from them but I am sure it is out there somewhere for you to give it a listen maybe not for reactions but for yourself hope you do give them a try but until your next one have a great one see you then
Please watch and react to Miley Cyrus - We Can’t Stop X Where Is My Mind? (From ATTENTION: MILEY LIVE) Where Is My Mind originally by The Pixies, another great cover by Miley.

So that happened.
It could have worked out like it did for Robin Williams when he skipped Game 6 at Fenway in Good Will Hunting instead.
such a beautiful song about being in love and snuggling up happy once you get home
Never for money
Always for love

Talking Heads are like an evangelical commune that discovered LSD. They are born again, but really out there.

Talking Heads were bursting with creative back in the early 80s. Weird but sincere is the perfect description of many of their songs. Great reaction!
Thank you.:)

Interesting song, actually good.
However, it seems there is nothing real about you - including your movements and reactions.
