    Mention your Favourite 3D modelling Software, down here...(BTW ignore the weird colour shifting. Gotta turn off auto WB here after)

    May I have a question that which one will be better for urban planning in both studying and working?

    Hi. I'd like to know if Rhino is good for woodworking designs, and for 2.5D designing namely for cnc routers?

    which better to take into construction drawing for sectional drawing or details?

    • @GeoCreationsarchitectur
      @GeoCreationsarchitectur  ปีที่แล้ว

      Rhino. You can use commands like make 2d to create 2d drawings from 3d models. You can see examples in my Instagram.

      @@GeoCreationsarchitectur id like to try using rhino since im mostly use sketchup a lot, how much time to at least to master and can make a single organic building in rhino for beginners?

    • @GeoCreationsarchitectur
      @GeoCreationsarchitectur  ปีที่แล้ว

      I would say, more or less a week to get comfortable with the software.

      then i wonder how ppl knew how to do with the parameters box (since rhino especially grasshopper has a lot of commnads), I mean can you pls suggest me how should I learn about those commands? Cz i thought its different from sketchup that have easier tools, thank u@@GeoCreationsarchitectur

      and also i would like to know, when using rhino does ppl or you usually make the exterior first (the mass and itsdetailing exterior) or go with the inner wall first? or did the interior in somewhere else softwares?@@GeoCreationsarchitectur

    I know SketchUp and Rhino at a basic level, for now I have been using SketchUp to create relatively simple architecture models to take axonometric and section cuts of those models.
    Do you recommend me doing that but in Rhino? I have been thinking about it, I know Rhino too, I even did a church part a few months ago to take a axonometric draw, but for now I am more used to the SketchUp workflow.

    • @GeoCreationsarchitectur
      @GeoCreationsarchitectur  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you are close to your deadline, use whats comfortable to you. Or else use rhino.

      @@GeoCreationsarchitectur I have time, and I want to take 3D to the next level. Would you say Rhino is faster when you get better? And more powerful?

    • @GeoCreationsarchitectur
      @GeoCreationsarchitectur  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Then go with rhino. Rhino unlocks more potential if you practice it well.

    Your definition of "parametric modeling" is misleading. You state that it indicates the modeling it related to algorithms. Not only is this slightly less accurate, it's also more confusing. The term "parametric" simply refers to modeling based on *parameters* that *persist* and can be changed at any point later in the model (providing the original geometry remains in some form that can remain parameterized).
    Simply put, tools like Solidworks are the most straightforward implementation of "parametric" because they use parameters that are preserved and can be changed non-sequentially within your workflow. None of that involves algorithms. Building algorithms on top of parametric modeling is essentially one step further -- parametric (parameters) plus logic and workflow, which, more simply, can be referred to as "automation".
