Friendly suggestion...if U actually paying 4K for rent.l would instead save and invest into a house or condo and actually own something than throwing 4K monthly rent .i myself bought a condo last year and my payment is 2650.
I completely agree, Its just a bit tough when California prices are so expensive but currently saving and hoping to buy in the future when the real estate market & inflation lessens.

It is nice to see that LA has a pretty decent downtown these days. Back in the 80s it was unheard of to live in a downtown in most American cities with the exception of New York and Chicago and a few others like Seattle and Denver. I guess Stephen we could call you a city boy and I am sure the views from your balcony is something that you miss about Chicago. Beside in my opinion the guys in Chicago are hotter looking. Love the decor in your apartment as it makes the place a bit homey in a way. Would you guys ever think about living in Miami one day?
