We never think about it because we are so involved in our own life, but people die every day, people cry every day, and people feel guilt every day. Personally I don't think the character was guilty for having an abortion per say, but lying about it since her husband was excited for a kid. Also, judging by the lyrics "babies having babies" the woman was pretty young and wasn't ready for kids just yet. But makes me wonder how young for her to have a husband.
I honestly don't like the narrative that all abortions are traumatic. I think most find it a relief. Most people who feel guilty, comes from a background where abortion is looked down on by their community, but you gotta think what's best for YOU.
