There’s a lot of gameplay where the main focus is to take over districts.. and you get story content as you conquer more territory. The story is what got me to push through it.
It becomes repetitive simply because the main aspect of the game is killing everyone and taking over the city. But it’s really fun once you get the hang on things, plus it’s got 3 dlc with more great story telling
You asked about people saying this game would take more time or that it is "grindy". At around 23:11 and after that, this part is basically open world collecting money and collectibles. This is the grindy part of the game that wasn't present in Mafia or Mafia II. You asked about the green circle collectible thing. Without saying any spoilers, these are electronic parts that will serve a use later and when you run out of them you will have to spend some time finding more (grinding for it).
Honestly pushing through the racket missions is worth it to see the story play out, it can feel like a drag at some points but you'll get there eventually. And I think you'll be happy to see some of the people you'll meet along the way, especially one of them. Mafia III has it's flaws but it's honestly a good game when you get through the outer rust, I've finished the game twice along with all the DLC and the story is still so memorable to me and many others to this day. The narrative is very well written, just try to keep pushing through the monotony lol.
Hey Sienna you needed to kill the last pimp to go back to the voice, also the church is the second stronghold so you have already started damaging it by stealing the money before you have even unlocked the second stronghold, you can kill or recruit the guy you need to kill at the stronghold
and about the armor your see it as a blue line above you 2 hp bars and it findable in rackets or you can buy it from the arm dealer because once its gone your only have your hp bars unless your ether find another body armor or buy it from the dealer once it gone if its low and you find another one it replace the low one right then and there.
I will say when I played this game I used a rife the heartmann .30 cause of it upgadeable ammo capacity and slower fiering for accurate hits and ether a silenced pistol or a machine gun pistol depnding on what the mission called for but it all depends on two things your play stayle and who you want back the most. but the meachine guns the rifles and the shot guns have upgradable capcitys.
I agree with you that it doesn't feel like a Mafia game. It feels like a stand alone game. In this one, you're not part of the mafia, you're taking down the mafia. The part you played with going to different locations and basically clearing out enemy camps is the majority of the gameplay loop, unfortunately. You're basically gonna clear enemy camps until you kill a boss, and take over the region. If the repetitiveness starts to feel too much, be aware that there is a PC mod that severely reduces the amount of damage you need to do (steal money, kill underbosses etc.) for any specific racket/boss, for the story mission to pop up for that region. It might be something to look into before the monotony sets in, and you don't feel like playing anymore.
You need a lot of money to recruit people and take all there money and so you have respect and so you draw the main bad guy out so you take them over and out Cassandra there once you have done that
If you remember to sneak and use your listening tracking skill constantly to see where the enemies are as well as pick them off 1 by 1 with silenced headshots you can clear entire missions without ever being spotted. Slow steady and silent. Trust me on this, you'll get such a dopamine rush from clearing a compound of like 30 guys without them ever spotting you. Try it out it'll save you allot of stress later on. Guns blazing is fun too but you die real fast in this game you'll be pulling your hair out.😂

This is where the repetitive missions begin good luck! But it’s worth the start and the end for me it’s good
9:08 your transition from annoyed to disbelief at not opening the door 😂😂
The voice is played by the same actor that did Lee in Tell Tale The Walking Dead.

Sienna you’re a sight for sore eyes 😂
there are multiple endings so be careful who you give the districts to.
Don't let people perspective ruin your experience its amazing game

You should show the playboys you’re collecting!
Hangar 13 definetly does not have the same level of quality, the original studio had.

the yellow car your driving looks like an old taxi. just like Tommy from mafia one
Another amazing playthrough Sienna ❤❤😁😁.
Don't worry too much, you'll be having good fun with Vito soon!
John Donovan is my favorite character in this game
I had that glitch where you had to reload the game. It will happen again so expect it multiple times if its the same as what happened with me.

To fix the glitch, reload the game and you'll be able to talk to The Voice.
Btw u gotta press F to scope the sniper rifle
Happy Spring🌷

Sienna cares
You sound hot when you say “come here” right before the knife kill

❤💐nice game play
Go Don Sullivan!
Hey that your shirt last night steam 😊

What would happen if they remake 2 and 3 not gonna be the same reaction 🤔
Real.
Mafia 1 was a remake that doesn't count
Sienna, you have barely started FF 7-Rebirth. You seemed to enjoy Remake allot, but not this one?. Did you loose interest in FF7?
Biggest pet peeve with this game is driving its way to buggy still love it tho
