Thing with the sidemen is that they really haven´t had a breakthrough in the US and that´s where the views are. The sidemen control the UK and large parts of Europe but even that doesn´t add up to the US market. If the sidemen were american their subscriber count would be on Mr Beast levels, its sad to hear the plans they had to get bigger in the US which all fell apart due to Covid as I do think would have made a massive difference. I think that ship has sailed now and the Sidemen are focusing on other things
@@dj9959 Nah dude, if you go about in Germany, maybe people know the name KSI but I havent met a person that knows the Sidemen (I am 26, for reference). Same probably goes for most other countries in Europe, the only countries that are really invested in English (outside Ireland and Great Britain, ofcourse) content are the Netherlands and the Scandinavian countries, which is easily mirrored by where their views are coming from.
I kinda appreciated Vik kinda showing his frustration wether it was a joke or not, cuz they’re so hardworking and probably deserve more than they receive

Charities like oxfam and the british heart foundation get absolutely ZERO attention. I got more views on a random video taking the mick out of the sidemen than that channel got in 14 videos. Actual creators who put time and effort into their content aren't right at the back of the list when it comes to content.
TH-cam should be prohibiting monetisation on ALL reaction videos unless an expert is behind the camera. They should be forcing creators to declare ads as chapters in the video and allowing us to skip them. It's an absolute joke that the government hasn't caught up and put the laws in place. There should be countless laws punishing those who abuse their following, it's WAY overdue by at least 15 years.
