      I'm looking forward to it as well. But although there are many passengers and children that love to sit there as well, the driver's seat should also act as a priority seating spot for the elderly seniors and the disabled. Once any passenger is asked by the seniors and elderly for the driver's seat, there's no choice but to surrender and sit or stand somewhere else. It's part of respecting your elders. I'm sorry if I don't mean to discriminate, but i'm only just saying.

    Disappointed that corporate greed chose capacity over comfort. So few seats, trans link really wants to pack people like cattle and charge $4 for it. So sad to start morning with crammed trains where I have to wait 2 trains to be able to board just to go 3 stops. It’s so bad between commercial station and Granville station, totally ruins the mood to use transit.

      Corporate greed? Maybe they're just trying to meet transit demand and every inch of space saved counts

      @@lynxcat4life they had two ways to do it- increase number of trains or increase crowds in less train, they chose the cheaper method. And pay hefty salaries to employees n executives which are disproportionate to market salaries. Translink has so much money, they would rather buy real estate (read abt this) than improve transit meaningfully before they satisfy its own greed.

      @@amitoj The Skytrain literally already runs every couple of minutes during peak periods. There are only so many trains you can add to a system. At some point, lengthening is the only viable option.

      @@amitojI know you don’t agree with TransLink’s plan but SkyTrain Mark V will bring in benefits when it comes to Mark V, that means that another one train has added with some amenities and upgrades. This comment has nothing to do with calling TransLink being greedy for something. SkyTrain is still expanding.

      @@amitojPlease be aware, in my own understanding, thankfully the 205 SkyTrain Mark V Trains will do have 142 seats around and there will be 8 leaning pads added thanks to one more train added as Mark V. Precisely there will may be 50 seats if I can assume which will be marked reserved if person has a disability or if they are seniors. Thank You.
