About the game:

Ive tried this. The road rage gets the best of me after about 5 minutes then I end up getting into a 4 star chase
same when I'm not recording 😹 so I also activated Menyoo's "No wanted level" when rampaging, and it's way more fun 😹
The traffic is actually designed to piss you off. I'm not kidding.

GTA 5 is so realistic it even has trucks block the passing lane while not going anywhere

Man I've tried to drive in GTA V without breaking any laws. The NPCs drive so bad in San Andreas. I don't have your patience.

I added a small mod where people would start running and call the cops if you have your weapon out...so it's pretty accurate of how people in LA feel about firearms lol
That's on purpose. GTA V is extremely satirical and R* tried to make fun of as much things as they possibly could. One of them was the traffic.
I love how even when the player wants GTA to be normal, the AI has to throw a wrench in by making sure someone gets randomly killed.

GTA V has a pretty decent freeway system, although they should have used 3-digit numbers for the interstates, being that they don’t leave Southern San Andreas. It would also have been cool to have closed stretches of freeway to the extreme northwest and northeast corners of the map with signs displaying information such as: U.S. 13 NORTH TO INTERSTATE 5 NORTH San Fierro (and the GTA equivalent to Bakersfield); and U.S 68 EAST TO INTERSTATE 1 NORTH Great Senora Desert, Las Venturas CLOSED (on an affixed orange construction sign).
The GTA VI freeway system seems to be much better from the previews.

What's entertaining about the video isn't about the gta map roadtrip (I've played the game for too long), but it's about the way his patience keep getting tested and somehow not starting a genocide after a minor inconvenience

oh right! thanks for reminding me! :D I need to redo the old freeway road trip in that game coz I still wasn't using an Elgato to record back then, which meant that the game was a bit stuttery at times coz Nvidia's Shadowplay was straining the laptop XD

Being an Indian(where traffic is left sided), hardest part for me is to keep to the right...esp on highways I often take the left side by reflex & boom, a car from opposite side throws me 10 feet away 🤕
You can also open director mode, and just disable traffic/npcs, its pretty fun, you can spawn your cars, and change the weather/time

what pisses me off is when you finally designed you fancy bugatti or ferarri and try to drive it carefully, but you accidentally rev it and then the npc besides you decides to race you and crash into you😤

Do you have a racing wheel? Cus that driving is quite hard to do on keyboard
I'd love to have a racing wheel someday! :D but for this video, I was just using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick (which I bought way back in 2005 and still works :D). The joystick can swivel left and right aside from tilting left and right, and I reconfigured the swivel parts via x360ce to be "steer left and right" :)

I do Mexican driving RPS and get cranky old cars and put east Los fm on non stop the entire way and drive 20 mph over the speed limit. Don’t ask, idk why.

What mod are you using to see a premeter of speed?
How do you get the speed to be constant? That's amazing
I was using the old method here, where I reduce the maximum speed in Menyoo from 192 kph (Menyoo uses metric) down to just 100 or lower. The disadvantage though is that the sound of the engine is always at maximum revving whether I use my joystick or keyboard.
I now have a new technique for mid-2024 driving videos: I now use a steering wheel and foot pedals, and now the engine sound is okay :)
To get rid of the police chase use director mode
Maybe next time drive the Dashound bus?

The safest way to drive without crashing in GTA is choosing a very slow car or using a speed limiter. Not sure, but video is being merged from multiple sessions.

you broke a law in La puerta freeway NB you were suppose to stay in lane but you changed lane because someone was slow and you broke another rule to be patient but you were not that means you failed
