    He’s so cute. Do you save one ornament as future reference or do you make a thumbnail? I really don’t do either. I pick up the clay and create or work from a tutorial or video.

      I keep one of every ornament I make. When I am creating new designs I work with Super Sculpey and take pictures because not everything I make advances to the next stage which is the colored clay. Sometimes I go back and look over the pictures to see if might change my mind and go the next stage.

    I am new and havent tried polymer clay much yet, certainly not something as sweet and nice as this, so I have a cpl questions.. Do you paint on his eyes after baking him? What is meant by "conditioning the clay?". Do you work with clay that is already colored?

      I Am sorry that I took so long to reply. I paint the eyes on after baking. Conditioning the clay is like kneading dough. It gets everything nice and pliable. I always work with colored clay.
