Same goes for OOD. I ordered the Proud Papa and absolutely love it. It's my first 3D printed anything in the hobby and it's so much fun. Oddly enough it's on my Nexus right now lol. Love the quality on it and I can't wait to use it in a war.
My favorite accessory has to be the Out of Darts scar barrel. So easy to fit, and 'should' make a significant difference to accuracy. I'm partway through a 1,000 dart test of Nexus w. Scar vs. Nexus w/o Scar vs. Ceda S vs. Dart Zone Pro 1.1 to see if there is any significant difference in accuracy. I shoot at a 2' wide x 3' high catching net at 70'. Like you, the weather has not been great in recent weeks, so it slowed me down, but on a dry day I try to get another 100-200 darts in.
Had this OoD scar barrel and it has greatly increased the accuracy. At 40', it will consistently hit within a 1'x1' square where as it used to be 2-3' square before. I did have to shave and clean out the inside of the scar barrel initially because it had some weird twisting and uneven friction on the darts at first. Modified the original muzzle to go over the scar barrel and you can't tell it's there.
@@maxwe117 Individual 100 shot runs are pretty boring, but I do mean to eventually post a video showing the method and at least one 100 shot firing. I started a channel to do this called Flinging Foam Straight, but only got one video up before I got bored of filming, and the weather got cold.
I totally agree and have both the round and rectangular version. It's such a short and simple upgrade but really in my opinion a very necessary one for harnessing such accuracy from a non-sealed breach blaster w alotta FPS available. I did purchase Drac's Foam Pro Shop's scar barrel with its crazy looking 2 piece vented cover thingy, but ended up selling it before I had a chance to test it against the outer darts versions. It wasn't ported, and had a three groove mellow twist with a slightly longer length, wish I knew how it compared.... Oh wel, I did sell it to a buddy of mine I will see you again at sum point, so we'll see.
I just got my Nexus Pro and I love it Ps.I live in Thailand and shippping cost is same price as the blaster lol at least it cheaper than 3D print blaster.

Some of my best upgrades so far have been from Drac's Foam Pro Shop, Out of Darts, and various Etsy dealers like Foamdemic. His printed parts are truly on a higher level, super close to injection molded plastic looking/feeling, yet definitely 3D printed. Just be very specific on the color/other options for said part w Foamdemic folks. Be prepared to wait a while too. But yeah, some of what I've received wasn't really up to what it claimed to be, or look like from Etsy dealers tho, so be careful. Unfortunately I've probably wasted as much money on items that didn't work out for various reasons, as things Im using permanently on my Nexus. But yeah, the Nexus is such a great blaster for future upgrades, but even in stock form it's just better than anything else for the money, it's that obvious nothing comes close for $50. The wobble really isn't bad at all and didn't affect any accuracy for me. Those new blasters look amazing though. I need that Gamma and a pair of the Lawless.
I have them both and love them both for different reasons too. The GF primes wobble can be removed by simply purchasing the wobble stabilizer from Foamdemic on Etsy, or just placing your favorite red dot sight/med length rail riser right there at the seam where the barrel meets the body. Running my red Dot sight slightly forward of the would be ejection Port is where I want it anyway and that's where the primes wobble can be fixed by clamping something to the rail!
Did you leave it primed for a long time or something and not realize it or was there something else going on internally that caused that failure? I've had to shave my down a little bit as it was hitting around 200 FPS and I don't trust the plastic internals for that much power. Whatever spacer setup gets you 150 to 170 FPS is probably all the Nexus should need if more FPS is desired. But, that's about it's limit IMHO, it maybe able to take 200 FPS spacers/springs, but not without a lot of metal internal replacement parts which could sacrifice reliability. Anyone else agree that and it stock form, using upgraded spacers shouldn't push it past around 170-180 FPS?
That is very true. But if you don't want to get a kit that replaces the internals or replace the stock barrel with a bit if brass, this is an option to get a bit more FPS out of the blaster and still be able to use long darts
just depends on the game rules but most places treat as a throwable. Meaning is tagged by one you get your blaster or shield destroyed. Some games even give longer respawn for kills with a grenade
hey doc i have the haphazardlynamed pump grip on my nexus pro and i have front riser found on thingiverse i also have tactical grip that replace the rear grip found on thingiverse and sling mount most of the stuff were found on thingiverse i also have the out of darts fps caps from 100 to 175 fps check me out on instagram @3dworxz but my favorite is red half length dart mags that out of darts sells

Grab the Nexus but if you're way into flinging foam Scheels has the Gameface Prime for $60. IMO it's worth checking out too.
I’d say at this point to save for the incoming gameface prime successor blasters. They look to be a lot less wobbly.

I bought an Out of Darts 175 FPS cap, and it shattered the buffer tube after a week. Just make sure to remove the cap when not in use fellas😔

If you modded the blaster to have a better seal with the stock barrel, it will actually hit harder then normal.
