I have this camera. I mount it to the handle bars of my ebike. The stabilization is amazing. Its the only camera i can directly mount and produce stable footage.
Gets overheated after 15 minutes. Quality not superb. I got it and returned it after sending 15 photos of it to show them it's not scuffed or damaged. Wait for the next generation.
How do their other products hold up? Have either of you tried any of them? Honest question because I've been thinking about getting one but I'm super hesitant.
@@Vancev99x you mean the INSTA360 X3 or X4 line ... they are way better then this. X3 in 5.7k gives you 2h, in 2k 4h, in 1080p 6h X4 its more app heavy since AI so a phone is a must but line in X3 the stabilization is unreal ... but X4 is a 8K camera (not to mention better battery performance , in 8k you only get an hour but lower it and you get x1,5 more then from "Insta360 x3") The snag here you have to work with a 360 footage , unwrap it and clip what you need . But the result are way better then from this one. Insane quality and stabilization without a gimble !

They also convince you to keep the product/s when a technician would help you solve your issues.

It also gets really hot when taking the 4k. Also I would not have gotten the 128 g. The app works really well so it’s nothing to offload it onto my iPhone and onto my cloud storage so the internal storage really isn’t an issue. The form factor of the camera is great though and worth getting.
I impulsively bought a GoPro Hero13 back in October the night right before going on a vacation, but just recently, I've been seeing ads about this thing all over social media. I liked that it's much smaller & all of the mounting possibilities seem so cool. Would this have been a better option?

If I had it to do over again I would not get the 4k model though. The video looks great in the 2.7 and the 4k files are so big they are cumbersome to work with and require too much memeory to store. I also would get the 64gb at most. The app works great and it’s easy to upload it onto my iPhone and too the cloud so the internal storage really isn’t an issue. The form factor with this thing is the game changer though.
all this and this $500 camera can only do 47minutes on one full charge ... when a phone with a stabilization can do 6h on one charge , same with other action cameras that can do better stabilization form 4h in 4K or 2h in 5K ... 47min , bra for $500 i expect 5h MAX ...
47min is the standalone recording duration of the Go 3s without the pod. But when you mount it to the action pod, it will at least last for 2hr of 4k recording. Don't get me wrong, i do think that 47min (which only achievable on recording 1080P, while 4k only lasts 30m) of battery life is definitely a joke. They should increase the battery life, someone wont be bothered to have a heavier Go series as long as the battery life can reach at least 1h in 4k recording

The stabilisation is quite bad so i would say no.
With Insta360's built-in GPS and school zone awareness tracking the stability doubles down at 96mph.

Not good. I have it and i loooooooove it. But the only Place it fails is in the Dark. Otherwise i like it so much more than the others:)
I'm sure I saw at least one bike channel get these, so there's at least some daytime footage with audio up right now.
