World Championship Blacksmiths Craig Trnka, CJF - Aluminum Trotting Shoe

World Championship Blacksmiths 2018 season is in full swing. Virginia State Fair is the fourth stop for the WCB crew. The judge for Virginia this year is Michael Kukkonen from Skive, Denmark. In this video Craig walks you through a step by step process in making a aluminum hind trotting shoe. The shoe will be made out of 11 1/2" x 3/8" x 3/4". The specimen measures 5" wide x 5" long without the trailer and the trailer measures 1 3/8". It is punched with 5 concave 3 nails. The contest will be October 5-7, 2018.
