LOL!! You'd be surprised. I grew up incredibly shy. Theatre - while I loved the idea of it - didn't sit well with me! My anxiety would take over. Google "on camera presence Amanda horvath" and watch some of my videos on it. I have my early videos out there. Anyone can get comfortable with practice.

No, I personally stick with premiere pro cause I have a full outsource + graphics system I follow that significantly cuts down on edit times. I think Descript is great for DIY edits, but when you're ready to bring on a team - premiere pro is where it's at 🙌 That outsource system is where my online program comes in to play, in my eyes.

I'm new to this...I'm working with a PowerPoint presentation. When I highlight the first slide and start recording it doesn't allow me to move through the slides. What am I doing wrong?

What if you just have a powerpoint and you don't want to record yourself speaking. Can you upload the ppt or pdf file to descript and then use ai to read your script?
Descript recently announced automatic transcription for Spanish. They posted a video about it on their TH-cam channel. Is the original video in Spanish or do you want to add Spanish subtitles to a video that is in another language?

Hey Amanda I was just watching a great video of yours about getting clients. I'm just looking for some advice on paid ad's. for instance what are the pros and cons of paid ad's over searching for clients myself? love your content :D
Great question - paid ads helps put gas on the fire once you have a funnel in place that's working. It's best to prove out the model organically first though. @@ibzillaire1208 Great question, one I've debated myself. I'd ask yourself if you WANT to learn ads or not. My bro runs a company called Live a Great Story (liveagreatstory.com/) and he learned to run his own ads because it's a major part of his strategy so knowing how to do it himself was important. Personally, I focus my efforts in my genius zone and am hiring someone to run ads for me. I just don't feel it's the best use of my time to learn to do them (time is limited after all!).
