Sir i think you are confused between chandragupta maurya and his successor .....Bindusara was the son of Chandragupta Maurya not Gatotakuch ....Chandragupta Maurya was married to Nandini(daughter of Dhananand) and they had a son named Bindusara .....Kautaliya named him as bindusar because while he was in the womb of nandi she got poisoned and died and to save the child Kautaliya directly took out the baby by cutting her womb but by the time a drop(bindu) already reached his head that's why he is known as Bindusar
While Gatotkuch was the son Shree gupta and he had a son who was Chandragupta I .
