I was searching TH-cam for reactions from people who don't know the context of this song and so far most of them get teary-eyed just from Bryce Pinkham's delivery alone. I watched it the day it dropped and ever since then I cry every time I hear it. Blitzo better not be stupid and hurt my baby boy (who am I kidding, of course he will x.x)

I watched it with absolutely no context (to the show) and it left me a sobbing mess lol. I feel like you get enough context to kinda understand what’s going on and then the emotion in Bryce’s voice makes it even more emotional.

The fact that this song was originally a fanmade song made by "PARANOiD DJ" on 2021 is crazy!
They took a fanmade song and animated it beautifully for the official helluva boss and the song itself is really well written.
Also Bryce Pinkham did incredible vocals for the song, you can feel every single emotion stolas is feeling in that song.

Yes.. I do agree that both songs have the same feeling to them,. The feeling of Longing and wanting to be someone.
So yea they do have the same type of feel to them, though I think Stoles's ''Look my way'' just a lot more intense, because of the animation, and Bryce's voice.
Also I remember that Animatic of Rainbow dash and Fluttershy... it was such an wonderful short series of videos from ''ink potts''.. and they introduced some really amazing songs to me.
''hell to your doorstep'' and ''I know those eyes/that man is dead''. AH So good. :D
