Okay disclaimer: the things I’m going to say about vaginal hygiene is only what I know best to my knowledge and experiences I’ve heard from other people. So first, DO NOT use soap, body wash, gels or any other chemicals to clean your vagina. The vagina is self cleaning, it does so to prevent infections so it’s normal to see discharge and it’s an indicator that your vagina is healthy. Putting chemicals, soap and whatever else into your vagina will disrupt the vaginal environment and will lead to yeast infections such as thrush and your vagina will give off that fishy smell. Now, vaginas are not supposed to smell like flowers and fruit, if anything, it’s supposed to smell ‘moist’ or ‘sweaty’ (sorry, that’s the best way I can describe it). AND THAT IS NORMAL. To maintain vagina hygiene make sure you’re only washing with warm water, ensure the area is dry after washing and wear dry underwear and change them daily. Diet and the amount of water you drink also contributes to the smell of your vagina, having a healthy diet will most likely produce less vaginal odour. To all the ladies out there, be very careful about purchasing these “vaginal cleaning products.” As I said before the vagina already does the cleaning itself, if anything make sure you consult a doctor before using any of these products. Ladies, you should not be ashamed if your vaginas smell a bit, dicks smell too.
@Erica Friol I think you are partly right about not putting anything INSIDE the vagina as it is self cleaning . However , the outside of the vagina such as the labia and the lips, must be cleaned with a mild soap specifically for vaginal hygiene . This does not mess up your Ph. Speaking as an obgyn

What helped me a lot with this was to stop using scented pads (they are the reason for the bad smell, not you) and also only wearing cotton underwear :D
Use unscented baby wipes too. I keep them on my counter and in my purse. Easy.
Staying away from large amounts of vegetables before sex will help this as well. Eat more fruit.
Everyone's different obviously, but the "first time" didn't hurt & I didn't bleed. I just felt pressure. Don't underestimate the importance of foreplay & getting in the right mood for it -- take your time! And use protection!

First of all, this needs to be discussed with ALL girls, so kudos to y'all for putting it out there.
I honestly don't know how I found this video since I am in my 30's, but here's some advice:
-Masturbation is normal and frankly fun (trying it with your partner is also fun),
-Labias/vulvas are normal no matter if they are innie or outie, boobs/nipples of all shapes are normal, a body odor scent is normal (to combat body odors that are not fresh >>> shower frequently rinsing thoroughly with warm water and mild soap, use unscented baby wipes on your vagina and nooks and crannies to keep smelling clean ((I also carry them in my purse)), shave/trim your pubic hair, and change out feminine products frequently).
-Get rid of those cheating toxic boys, and find a grown man to treat you right.
-Waiting for sex is normal and perfectly fine, as long as you aren't the judge for those who make a different choice.
-You do you (if you like bdsm, then play around with what feels comfortable and set boundaries), and stay safe (wear protection and use birth control, don't have the mentality of "oh, that could never happen to me" because statistically it will if you aren't careful).
-If it hurts during sex or your first time, be open about it, try new positions, be yourself. One thing to help you get comfortable is couple body exploration, lay down and let your partner explore then tell them what you like and what you don't then switch. Sex is like riding a bike. Once you get comfortable, the real fun can begin.
-Take it from someone who faked it for years and missed out, tell your partner what you like, what you want, and how. Don't be ashamed. You have needs just like he/she does, and your voice matters just as much.
