Jock itch is caused by the same fungus that causes athlete foot. Just go to your local pharmacy in the foot care section and look for the cream or other products for treating athlete foot. Sometimes those products actually tell you it will also treat jock itch. Try it for two or three weeks, and make sure you wash the infected area and change your underwear daily. Tell me if it works for you.

The vinegars and all that stuff involving water does NOT fully work because your jock will still get wet and you're not supposed to have a wet, humid area down there. Yes, vinegar has acid which is anti-fungal but your jock itch will just keep spreading more with it. Plus it HURTS like hell for a few minutes. See a dermatologist/skin doctor instead.

I had jock itch for about 2 months. I have just gotten over it. This was my daily routine: Morning: 1. Apple Cider Vinegar/Water (50/50) yes this will sting for the first week or so but worth it trust me. I just put some in my hand and dabbed it on. Let it sit for a few minutes then dry it completely with a hairdryer. 2. Aloe Vera Cream - again this will make it sting but its killing the bacteria. 3. Tinea Itch Cream Evening: 1. Apple Cider Vinegar/Water 2. Aloe Vera Cream 3. Canasten or Tinea Cream Things to do: 1. Clean private parts with soap in the shower daily or straight after exercise 2. I'm familiar with athletes foot and using vinegar for that. I've used straight vinegar in a spray for my problem and it does burn and hurt a bit but would that be affective? Use straight Clorox on the ringworm. It usually says on the bottle of Clorox that it works on ringworm.
This was an awesome post, thanks for the education. My recommendation is to use a penis health creme. Try one with Vitamin C, as it has incredible antibacterial properties that will keep your member clean, fresh and hydrated. Hope this helps.

I had jock itch for about 2 months. I have just gotten over it.
This was my daily routine:
Morning:
1. Apple Cider Vinegar/Water (50/50) yes this will sting for the first week or so but worth it trust me. I just put some in my hand and dabbed it on. Let it sit for a few minutes then dry it completely with a hairdryer.
2. Aloe Vera Cream - again this will make it sting but its killing the bacteria.
3. Tinea Itch Cream
Evening:
1. Apple Cider Vinegar/Water
2. Aloe Vera Cream
3. Canasten or Tinea Cream
Things to do:
1. Clean private parts with soap in the shower daily or straight after exercise
2. Always dry your private areas with a hairdryer.
3. Continue using apple cider vinegar/water solution forever to continue killing any potential fungus that wants to come back.
4. Do not scratch no matter how itchy, this made my jock itch so much worse.
5. Use one towel to dry your body, use the other hand towel to dry your private areas.
6. Sleep without shorts or underwear on
7. Try to wear loose fitting shorts whenever you can and no boxers (maybe best only at home)
8. Try not to touch yourself in anyway that will flare up the sores.
9. Don’t panic, just follow my daily routine and it will clear up. Stick to it like your in the army! Trust me its worth it!
10. Don’t put shorts or boxers back on that you have already worn. Get some fresh ones on

I'm familiar with athletes foot and using vinegar for that. I've used straight vinegar in a spray for my problem and it does burn and hurt a bit but would that be affective? I'm asking bc every remedy you mentioned required white vinegar? Again straight vinegar is painful but wondering if it would be affective? I'm on day one of my treatment. Thank you for your post!
