I heard this will be their last comeback before Mino has to start his military service. Like Bobby of iKON, he did quite well on Show Me The Money. Bobby was on the 3rd season and Mino was on the 4th season, with Born Hater coming out between them. Mino was also a producer on the latest season of SMTM, where he partnered up with Gray. Mudd The Student was on his team and had some of my favorite songs of that season (only beaten by Basick's Meeting Is Easy, Parting is Hard). Mudd The Student had Moss (produced by Mino and featuring Bobby) and Dissonance (featuring AKMU). For the song that you were wondering what the drop was building up to, that was "No Thankxxx" by Epik High. It doesn't have a MV, but I really think you should check it out. Amazing song and sort of a follow-up to Born Hater (though Mino is the only returning feature). It is on the same album as Here Comes the Regrets and also Home is Far Away and Love Story (which features IU). Also on this killing Verse was Full House by Mobb (which is Bobby and Mino's rap duo group).
I'm looking forward to their comeback, I figured that would be a good time to get introduced to the group as a whole. - I want to check out the show me the money show, just gotta find the time lol - I really like everything I've heard from Epik High so far, so that would be cool, I'll check it out asap

It will certainly take a while to get through SMTM, though the good news is that you can skip the first two seasons since I don't think they were ever fully subtitled (I do remember checking out part of 2 for LE's stuff, but couldn't find the full episodes). 3 was when it really started blowing up anyway. I do prefer SMTM over Unpretty Rapstar since they dont have as huge a focus on drama and don't have multiple rounds of diss battles

As time goes he shows everyone why he deserve to call the real WINNER, true artist, a talented one. On 2021, he become one of the producers of SMTM 10. So proud of him can reach this level.

Mino has pretty complex lyrics, he does use a lot of idioms so we miss a lot of his double and triple meanings even with subtitles.
Yeah that's what makes the language barrier for rap a lil tougher, there is often more wordplay in that genre
