I tried him today for the first time for 20 times XD took him down to 10% hp then he got me... i was using a lu bu build but i think i ll go for tiny weapon cause as soon as he call his totem the dmg he deals are insane and he keep attacking living me no breath XD. I beat dis bastard few days ago. Just tried force him to do red attack with sword and then parry. And then he fight with him in demon form. I beat him just once.... only to see how he start second phase. I think dis is sad. In dlc i feel like i fight vs Malenia or Maliketh. Bosses attack non stop with absolutly crazy speed, doing combo with 10 hits, than jump away and strike magic arrow with double damage and then dash with sword hit through all damn arena. So i dont understand how i suppose to fight with dis. In vanilla, bosses was hard but they have a windows to our attacks. And dlc feels like absolute broken and unbalances and not fun to play
Did you try the new longsword ? This weapon is so sick and I'm loving it ! And you should try Taishi Ci set build since it has good longsword spirit damage and headshot damage (perfect for normal ennemies).
I hate these videos. Like I can’t even beat this guy on normal mode. He has some type of hyper armor which is so unfair. Every bit to me staggers me but he doesn’t stagger for shit. His arrows always hit me all 4 and I die. Been at it for like an hour now Then this video is up and makes me wanna just completely quit the game cuz I’m trash /:
I also think it's unfair to give super armor to Taishi Ci and especially Gan Ning. It also has taken much time to get use to his arrow attack pattern. You're not trash, just time is needed. You can make it!

thank you. I just practice a lot. It is one of the hardest bosses in the game. For me it's top 3 hardest boss.

This is a hard boss indeed. all bosses are strong as you said, I'm sorry to hear you couldn't have fun to play it.
Just use Dragon's Cure Powder as a second health option

How do you do that much spirit damage feel like i’ve gone wrong so much in this game, spirit always builds up so slowly
