Two of them are basically useless now (because she got nerfed sooner than we were able to see how will she do) and four others are luck or situation dependant. Only one ability is really usefull and somewhat consistent. When we saw first public tests with her, I would say she is pretty solid A-tier hunter. After her nerf well... she is basically really hard to master Joseph with sad hitbox.
She is not weak. They barely pressured ciphers or did chip dmg because everyone’s new to using her. Give it a week and we’ll know how good she actually is

I agree the amount of effort one would put into "Mastering" Clerk could easily be put into learning sculptor who has a significantly stronger chase, Camp and arguably map control than clerk. The problem with clerk is that she relies mostly on survivors mistakes than making opportunities for herself which, Dream, Sculptor, Wheel, Wu, and even mad eyes can do. Before someone says she can reverse decoding, there's a delay before you can start recording someone when looking at them from above so anyone paying attention can 100% get off before Clerk starts recording. Sure they're off the cipher for 8 seconds but that's really it. She's not as good as people trying their hardest to believe she is because she has so many counters. But at least she isn't wax artist I guess.

I hate the 2 second delay nerf in her recordings so much. It is very easy to dodge and it's so annoying despite one's efforts. If she got a buff I wish they removed the delay and instead can be played instantly. :
@MechanicWonder the 2 second pause when you place a recording.. before, it wasnt like that, when you summon a recording, it moves right away but because of the nerf, it pauses for 2 WHOLE SECONDS and then moves..this gives the survs a chance to determine where to go to avoid being hit, and this just (to me) destroyed her tbh, she'll probably be unplayable, maybe playable but hard to master.. because of this she takes a high level of predicting. this was the most unnecessary nerf i've ever seen💀
I feel like her powers are really strong if you know how to master her and survivors don't know how to counter. However if you are a good survivor that knows how to kite for 8 seconds without pallets and shit, she is basically powerless. Especially survs with abilities that help them to occupy the hunter with just their powers are incredibly good against her.

FYI. When you didn't found anyone decoding using her reveal while not chasing any survivor, record her own attack and save it for later. When you chasing survivor, don't record Clerk attack but record survivor you chase. They will likely avoid to use pallets when you record them and when you get them use pallet, immediately stop it as fast as possible to make corrupted record that reversing pallet almost instant Her max presence allow her to record uncorrupted record. So all of the unnecessary motion such as walking will be deleted. With max presence, if you record someone decoding even less than a second, the shadow will keep undecoding without doing unnecessary motion which mean you need to get max presence as fast as possible to disrupt chipper rush. This also apply to Forward Pallete Record where you drop the pallet, blocking their path as on Pallet dropping animation they can't vaulting until the shadow disappear

For me peeper is not that good for her. Her ability allow to see a survivor behind walls and ways when she records and decrease interaction speed, is a natural peeper. Patroller is.... strange. if she had an ability of 1x damage would be cool but nah. Blink and Abnormal are more useful or excitement if you're playing against stunners
